Question now is whether they’ll consider moving point guard Goran Dragic, who is very good and on an affordable contract.

PLEASE! Someone in the East take him!!

Some very nice things said in that article.

Behind brilliant play from LaMarcus Aldridge, an innovative offense and newfound depth, playoff basketball seems destined to be headed back to Rip City.

Portland already has won games over the Spurs, Warriors, Pacers and Thunder – the latter two coming in their last two games – and Aldridge has been playing at a borderline MVP level. With a young supporting cast of Damian Lillard, Wes Matthews and Nicolas Batum plus the deeper bench, Portland can compete not just this year, but should get better moving forward, as well.

Who knows exactly where the Blazers will end up by season’s end? But one thing is for certain: the Blazers are back, and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

What I like is what it says about our future. Some people here won't "believe" until we win in the playoffs but no matter how we do in the playoffs, if we make the playoffs, it'll be just the beginning of what this team can do gong forward. Our window is WIDE open. Even if we lose in first round, we're set to take the next step next season.

I think the Blazers are one big piece away from doing huge things. Where that piece comes from, who knows?

CJ McCollum, predicted by most rookies to be rookie of the year. He'll finally give us a backup SG, a role Lillard has had to play. He will also give Wes some rest from his injuries. And he will give us extra bench scoring if Mo is having an off night.

Only "boarder-line MVP" because of LeBron infatuation and bias.

Bias or not, Lebron is damn good.

That said, MVP talks (and chants) are ridiculous in December. I wish they would have chanted his name or something... no one in the history of the nba has won the MVP in December in an 82 game season. It's just silly to me, IMO.

Hoping he will be the scorer. He may come out flat to start... gotta give him time to adjust.

Just stop. I'm talking about a star, not a rookie who has never played 1 game. Good Lord.
