Who are you and why should I not ignore you?

You posted that one-liner before the schedule was released. I'm not required to pay attention to premature speculation. ;)

The fact that we only play the Spurs and Warriors three times is great. The fact that in each case we only have one game at their home arena is really a gift.

Another change is the elimination of four-games-in-five-nights stretches, which is also something the league has been working on the last few seasons. After having two such stretches during the 2015-16 season and one four-in-five stretch in 2016-17, the Trail Blazers, along with the other 29 teams, have no four-in-fives this season. However, Portland saw no decrease in their number of back-to-backs this season, as they have 15 such stretches in 2017-18, the same number as they had in 2016-17.

This season, we only have 4 road trips longer than three games all season. We get both of our 5-game road trips out of the way before Christmas and then have one 4-game road trip in January and one in April.

In addition to no 4 games in 5 nights road trips, also gone are the 5 games in 7 nights trips. Both of our 5 game trips this season are 5 games in 8 nights.

It's still going to be a good game regardless of how we may feel about LMA.

I want Christmas games.

It was fun watching Brandon Roy dominate on the X-mas day.

SI is gving our Jan 22 game against the Nugs #37 on the top 50 games of the 17-18 season:

37. Jan. 22: Blazers at Nuggets

One of the NBA’s better, less-heralded rivalries can be found in the Northwest Division thanks to Jusuf Nurkic, who exploded onto the scene after a midseason trade from Denver to Portland last season.

When the Blazers took a major step to secure their postseason spot and eliminate the Nuggets in April, Nurkic, who underperformed and disappointed throughout his Denver tenure, went out of his way to wish his former team a “happy summer.”

While the Blazers won’t make their first trip to the Mile High City until January, Nuggets fans will surely be waiting and playoff positioning could very well be on the line again.
