It really doesn't matter. We're not going to get a good draft pick unless we get incredibly lucky.

And we're not winning a series with this roster unless we get incredibly lucky.

Making the playin would be entertaining. Making the playoffs would be successful. The west is brutal in no way am I looking beyond that.

2027 draft sounds epically weak. In theory from asset management perspective it would be best for Blazers to miss the playoffs, keep their 2026 pick then make playoffs in 2027. We'd then retain full 2028 pick and Bucks swap.

I'm fine with making the playoffs though next season. That should be the goal, and if we miss just look at the pick as a consolidation prize.

I would like to see us in the playin also just to get some "postseason" experience for our youth.

My prediction is slightly higher unfortunately. I wish I could feel they were either lotto bound again or in the playoffs hunt. Instead they are in no man's land.

Watch us bust out ass and JUST miss the play-in…..fun exciting season. Then instead of the 14th pick, we are rewarded by the league and we launch up and get the kid from BYU!
