Dame's recovery time has come and gone and word from the team is they have no plans of playing him at all the rest of the season, Ant had a quad contusion that rarely has players missing games that turned into tendinopathy that will keep him sidelined for at least a week or two or more likely for the rest of the season and Nurk has an injury that almost every player in the league gets treatment for and plays through before resting it in the off season and he's basically out the rest of the season with that. Nas obviously has an injury that would be keeping him out in any season. I have no take on if Winslow's injury would be keeping him out in a regular season or not but I sincerely doubt it. Oh and then there's that pesky fact that we traded away three starters and our sixth man and got back one guy that was starting on his team.If Spurs are trying to win, they're doing a bad job. They've lost 7 of their last 9 and their All Star Murray sat out two of the losses. As for the Blazers, in the last two games, we were clearly trying to win and the coach is definitely trying to see what it is they have. How are the Spurs different than us in that regard? We'll see what happens. I honestly have no idea how it will shake out but I definitely don't assume the Spurs will beat us three times.
Yeah, if you can't tell that we're doing a lot more than the Spurs to tank then I don't know what to tell you except that I'm not surprised because you kind of have a habit of not recognizing basic facts that contradict a narrative that you've dogmatically dedicated yourself to. I will say that after today we'll most likely end up under the Spurs in the standings. Then we'll play the Nets. It's after the Nets game that I expect to see us really show our dedication to the tank. At that same time the Spurs will continue to play all of their guys and battle for wins, wins like they got against the Jazz on Friday. So we'll have to wait and see maybe our team does something mind boggling and keeps playing Hart after the Nets game while they bring back a bunch of guys from their "injuries" I just highly doubt that happens.
I guess the most telling thing will be who wins the upcoming three games that we have against the Spurs. You think we take more than one of those games?
