I'm sorry that logic is hard for you. Science isn't perfect...no rational scientist would claim it is. In your "if it isn't perfect, it's worthless" worldview, that would make science worthless.

Yes, I know it's painful when your lack of logic is illustrated...the usual thing to do in that situation is either silently depart the thread or throw out a non-verbal response, like a smiley.

I like it so much that I am suggesting a PPER (Poster PER) to Danny Crane. I would suggest, however, that you consider revising some of your posts because based on the initial PPER formula - your posts today bring you below average and if this is so - we might have to trade you to the LA Clippers board on S2! :devilwink:

The real PPER (sorry, andalusion...the "P" stands for something else). And Oden's PPER is huge.
 
When Hollinger comes out with a power ranking that accurately predicts who is the NBA champion every year for several years straight, then I will give a shit.

Odd wont even allow PER for the same player on the same team in consecutive years as a basis in judging a players improvment....even if its a 5 point jump (which it was) its still irrelevant to him...The only opinion he cares for is his own when he watches the games....drunk (his words, not mine)....Im sure that help form accurate opinions

This is silly. This implies that female fans can not have a PPER. I am sure that some of the female fans on this board will let you know how silly you are.

I'm sure an appropriate measure can be created for each gender. Just like cornerbacks and wide receivers are measured by different things.

I said there are 100 different reasons PER could move. It does not necessarily mean the player has improved. Just like PPG, Asst avg, rebounds etc.

Having somebody agree with you on a sports forum is next to impossible so I thought the quotes were pretty funny
