Blazers at Lakers preseason game thread- 10/19/15 NBATV 7:30pm PT

My turn to say: "It's preseason."

As far as the Blazers coaches trying to win that game: No fucks were given.

Most of the players on the floor in the fourth quarter won't sniff the floor, in this or any other season.

I'll wait to pass judgement until they are actually playing the actual starting and backup rotations.

Get back to me after 20 regular season games.

For me, these last two games were a reality check. It looks as if we will struggle even against fairly bad teams. Even with increased freedom and coaching, it seems that Davis and Plumlee will have no inside game besides putbacks. And Plumlee seems to have pretty bad hands. Vonleh and Harkless may have a chance to be something someday but they are both pretty rough and shooting (especially for Vonleh) is suspect. Maybe after a full year they can contribute but I think not much this year. Looks as if Mc Collum will be better, not sure about Leonard. Crabbe has some good spots but seems to disappear at other times. Lillard doesn't seem to have his three point shot back. Overall kind of an average group but I am hoping they can get better and add someone next year.

Right now I am really mix on this team they do some good things but there alot to clean up for this team to be good.
 
Our starters were all positive +/-

Theirs weren't.

Our bench needed to step up a bit.

It's preseason.

I said 20-25. Wouldn't be surprised with 30.
 
If anything, I see us winning more in the first half of the season, then the rest of the league catching up with us, then tanking to finish the season.

I just watched the end of last night's game. Holy crap, we had 89 points with 47 seconds left and finished with 102! Who said we're gonna have trouble scoring?

For arguments sake, curious WHO scored those 13 points and WHO they were scored on and what will their role be with their teams this season?

Furthermore, our guys dropped 77 on GS's starters in the first half. Works both ways.

Why are you getting so angry with me lately? I'm just stating my opinion, not in a dick kind of way at all. I'm not calling you names for your opinions. That said, so we will beat Golden State this regular season based on what you saw in this PRE season game?

And yes, we will beat GS but they will get 1 seed #respectforchamps

Ok, now I'm not sure if this is HCP or the hacker. Or if there ever was one. Or if HCP is even a Blazer employee. If he is, is he the same guy we've tolera...errrrr, enjoyed for years?

Ok, we know we can't trust Sly or the other mods. Hell, they could have been hacked. I propose a series of questions that only HCP could know because of all the years he's been a part of the group. No googling.

1. What is the highest horsepower self propelled Toro lawnmower?

Ok, screw a series of questions. That should be enough.
 
Upshaw certainly was not impressive. He has a long ways to go. I saw where he got cut and then read that he was slow to learn the offense and did not put in extra time after practice. That in a nutshell is why he was not drafted. All rookies need to work hard to get better and if the guys was not willing to do it........not a good sign.
