awful game, Roy looked awful, gettin to the point where how can Nate justify sittin Nic when Roy is playing this bad? I have some hope for Nic playin thru this if he gets a chance, Roy's been given all he wants and just can't get it done, sad to watch Brandon this way

One possible justification may be that Nic doesn't have the handles that Roy does, nor is Batum the facilitator that Brandon is. You know how Nate hates turnovers. Dre and Roy are probably the only ball handlers that he trusts. Everyone else, besides the point guard reserves, have shaky handles, and even Mills has his share of dribbling problems.

I don't know if you meant that as a joke or not, but I do think more of KP than I do of Cho. If only he had a different agent...

A touch of sarcasm, but the reality is that this is his roster for all intents and purposes. Cho may not be anything great either, but when people lay this mess at his feet right now I think they're jumping the gun, give him at least until the deadline to throw rotten tomatoes at him and heap scorn on his head if you want to be fair minded ... or don't, it makes no difference to me.

Very good point.

That's because KP would never make such a short-sighted move. Always looking towards the future like a good GM should.

Oh so that was why he publicly lobbied for Roy getting the max ... looking ahead.

This is what we get when a team tries to build a championship team and not a playoff team.

You mean jlprk's mom's basement, right?

I found the case of beer in her attic, now I'm famished for chocolate. Here's some original Hersheys from the '30s!!!! Good old Mom.

P.S. I have never been in my own attic. There are birds and hornets there all summer. Truth. They climb in through a gap in the wood where the roof is falling off the pillar over the carport. No problem, except this summer the bees bored a hole to my bedroom so I've been sleeping on the living room sofa the last few months. I go in there now and then and kill dozens at a time. You think I'm making this up? I finished the expensive beer tonight so now I'll have some cheap stuff. I count them as I kill them. Usually about 60-80 at a time. I think the hornets drove the bees into exile into hell, so they tunnelled down to my bedroom. The whole room smells like bees and I don't want to sleep there.

Also, KP didn't negotiate the contract, Larry Miller did under the direction of Vulcan.

Yup. KP said it was out of his hands. PA/Vulcan/Miller folded under pressure. There as guilty as anyone for giving him that contract since they knew the condition of his knees as well.

Just another example PA doesn't know how to win.

You and a poster on Oregonlive known as "BigGameGreg" post the most random things on an internet forum I've ever seen, congratulations!

KP was removed from the negotiation after he said something to Quick that he thought he was well worth the max. He's just as much a part of this as anybody else in the org chart.

9pt qtr vs grizz is not alarming but down right scary. that alone warrants cho making a move.

I'll tell you after the trade deadline. Or actually after this offseason.

You said Cho was a horrible GM as soon as he was hired.

I said I wasn't impressed with the hire until proven otherwise. Cho has only gone downhill in my view since then.

we score 9 points in a qtr. you might need 3 blazers for 25/20

I've came to a conclusion. The reason we lose games late is because we have no bench production whatsoever which means our starters play too many minutes.

Trivia question time.

Did KP ever make a trade that involved a player that he acquired? Hmmm besides Taurean and Sergio?

Steve Blake. He also re-signed Outlaw so that could technically count as well.

Also, Frye.

Blake was a Nash guy wasn't he?

He didn't trade Frye or Outlaw. I said traded. Frye signed with Phoenix. A re-signing isn't a trade.

So, after removing Big Mouth KP from the Roy negotiations because he is biased toward Roy ... the Vulcans then proceed to sign Roy to a max contract. That's hardball, ya'll!
