of all four games on this road trip... this was the one I thought they could count on. Guess I was wrong.

Can't win em all. Bobcats making a playoff push at home. Tough game. Let's get em tomorrow. 3-1 is a great trip.

Yep, lot of improbable things happened but in the end we lost it. Hopefully that makes us come out of the gates swinging vs atlanta.

Not to pull a MIXUM but the Hawks will probably win tomorrow, they not only demolished us at home, but they also have our number the last couple of seasons. Pathetic that we lost when we had no business losing.

Why the ?

This is about an obvious answer as it gets. We have one of the most clutch players in the league (no knees and all), and he doesn't touch the ball in the last 30secs.

I put a question mark becuase I wasn't sure what Nate was gonna do. Nate called a pretty good play out of that timeout.

Horrible - no excuse for this one.

Bobcats have winning record at home. Got their Jax back. Making playoff push. Lost close game. No worries. Lakers always lose to the Bobcats and they have two championships to show for it. We won't face Charlotte in the playoffs.

I have to admit, that was a decent play design. But Wesley choked. And tbh, I sorta expected it.

No one outside of Brandon has the stones to sink a shot or FT when its needed most on this team.

This was a pretty big letdown after the high of the Miami game.

But how do you practice it being the 4th quarter?

A kick in the balls simulates being down in the fourth quarter, because that's how much it hurts. Just kick him before he misses it. Kick him after he misses it too.

Atlanta has had our number for a few years. I only expected us to beat the hawks if we lost to the Bobcats because it would really fire us up. Tomorrow will show if the team itself thinks they can make it deep into the playoffs by playing hard no matter what happens, or if were content to let things slip away and try and squeeze into the 8th seed.

Hahaha. Yeah, I was nervous when I saw it was Wes at the FT line. Too bad, that first free throw rolled out. It was so close to going in! I agree that Brandon probably would've made both.

It is a joke they are in the running for playoffs. It really is.

We will get to Atlanta before the Hawks since they are still playing in Chicago right now. So maybe that is a small advantage for us. And like you said, since we lost tonight, we will be more determined tomorrow. But Hawks may lose to the Bulls, so the Hawks will be fired up too.

Hopefully, we can break this losing streak to the Hawks tomorrow.

One game isn't a big deal. This game, win or loss, neither makes or breaks the Blazers' season.

It is amusing watching everyone overreact as usual, though. Bunch of girls I swear.

I don't really mind a loss here or there as long as we still make the playoffs and build some sort of rhythm along the way. Since I don't really see us getting HCA, tonight doesn't bother me that much. It seems like our guys got a little too happy about that Miami win and let up the intensity.

But that middle has a gaping hole in it that will be exploited plenty in the playoffs. We need to find a shot blocker to fill that last spot.

33% of our FGA were 3 pointers. 16% of theirs were.

This was one of the easier games remaining on the schedule - if we had any hopes of making up ground for HCA, this was a big blow to them.

The chances of that were slim at best. OKC's remaining schedule is ridiculously easy and there's just no way they give up the #4 spot.

Just worry about Denver/NO, who both have tough schedules remaining.

That's too bad, because we would kick their ass. Just another loss where we had a good size lead and got complacent. I dunno, we've only had about 10 of those this year. Seems like the theme of the last few years is that they play their best when their backs are against the wall. When they are underdogs, undermanned, and not given much of a chance they rally and find a way. But then when things start to go our way, the sense of urgency goes out the window. Wouldn't be surprised if they lose tomorrow, and then all 3 games on the homestand . . . take a 5 game losing stread into LA, and somehow beat the Lakers when nobody expects it. You just never know what you're going to get with these guys.

At the end of the day the Blazers can win tomorrow and make this a 3-1 road trip which everyone would have taken before it started. Who the wins came against doesn't matter as long as the record is still 3-1. This isn't college football.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!

They give us a thrilling win over Miami for our blinded homer fans and then they give us a stunning defeat to a suck team like Charlotte for our Nate & Roy hating fans.

It's amazing how they seem to cater to the wants and needs of every Blazer fan!

Yeah, Mixum and Nikoloksususus probably enjoyed the game tonight.
