Dang, Demopoulos looks like he's about ready to cry during the post-game conference.

He definitely looks like he's taking this loss, road trip, and not having Nate around pretty hard. I feel bad for the guy, especially after I think he got two pretty good efforts out of this team in the past couple of days.

Tell me how you really feel. No really. Don't hold back!:evilfire:

I'm tired of expanding my ignore list just to avoid seeing the same stupid conversations happen every night. Filtering out the 25th straight "Blake Sucks" thread requires a lot of effort. Not because I love Blake, but because everyone's so angry, and doing nothing but spit venom with no recourse. Nothing changes. I wish the people getting so angry would just give up, because it's making the other posters here either flee or get in arguments over things that will not change. It's not healthy.

+1

.

Blake's D was actually not that bad, but he's giving us a net negative on offense right now.

He HAS TO be benched, but the coaches are giving him wayyyy too much leash.

Fair enough, but until something changes (and in fact his minutes are trending up not down) what do you honestly expect. Sure it gets old (I get tired of bitching about it myself sometimes too) but the alternative of quiet resignation leads to despair. I'd rather have anger.

At least the team grinded out a win against the Pacers with no Danny Granger. Ughhhh....

41-41?

Pretty much the way I feel. This board is getting to be unreadable due to the constant bashing of KP, Nate, & Blake. These guys all bust their humps for the team in their own ways. Things aren't working well for them right now, but it sucks to see "fans" spewing venom out over people who are doing their best to help the team win. I don't have any problem with posts that express negative comments about the job any of them are doing, but I think an ax murderer would get more respect around here from some of you people than these guys do.

The staff is being called out for a reason, regardless of their efforts, because they aren't getting results.

That's not hate, thats reality and accountability.

OMG.

We're below OKC.

Unfortunately, I think the Thunder can beat this Blazers team. We've lost a lot of our talent to injury and many of our remaining players are in a funk.

im waiting for kenny vance and jay allen to argue about blake lol

I'm watching the Talkin' Ball show right now and hearing Frank Brickowski call Steve a collegiate championship point guard and a great point guard overall. He called him a floor general.

lmao!!

damn no kenny vance, holton is in for him i think....no blake bashing

Is Mike Conley still available? His December splits are impressive. He'll also be about a 40% 3PT shooter in his career imo, making him a great fit, not to mention he can blow by defenders as well.

I doubt Memphis is willing to give him up.

Bayless, meanwhile, is doing his best not to explode. His sour face when he was pulled with 10:14 left in the fourth, despite having hit two key baskets near the end of the third quarter, told the story.

Bayless feels like he is not awarded the trust nor the freedom from the coaching staff, which often pulls him after a mistake, no matter how many positive plays he produced prior.

"I know every time I play I've helped this team. Every single time," Bayless said before Saturday's game. "It's tough. Especially since, and I hate saying this, seeing these other guys (Blake and Miller) doing what they are doing. I know I can help this team. I know I can."

Hmm.... yeah. I'd agree with Jerryd.

Surprisingly honest, and surprisingly correct. Hell, this probably just sealed his trade papers out of town.

If so, I'm glad for him. He earned minutes and didn't receive the amount of playing time to go with his level of play this year, despite being told you'd earn your spot. He deserves a chance.

Is it fair to say that Nate's whole "players will decide who play" thing is pure fabrication at this point? What a colossal convergence of misfortune and mismanagement. I'm almost speechless, what else is there to say.

I will be very curious to see what happens after the team gets into town with respect to maybe a little bit of a lineup shakeup (as much as you can have with 9 healthy bodies).

There was the talk of Andre finally moving into the starting lineup before the trip. Maybe the change was put on hold until Nate returned to the team, which I don't see what the difference would be but it is our team we're talking about.

There's always things that don't make sense, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some changes on Tuesday even though that hasn't been the norm.

Another interesting tidbit in Quick's recap

In the first quarter, Miller was substituted into the game with 4:32 left. But instead of replacing Martell Webster, like he normally does, Miller was told to substitute for Roy.

Roy appeared incredulous at the substitution and when he reached the bench he slammed his towel to the court and hissed “We are changing our rotation every game!”

Afterward, Roy said he was too tired to remember that far back in the game, and he said he was more worried about his own play, which for the second straight night included a shaky shooting hand (8-for-24).

Absolutely.

You want more expiring contracts?
And draft picks! Can't forget about the draft picks. Low price contracts + players to fill out the roster...who doesn't love that??

We might need Jerryd Bayless, too, to trick the silly fans into thinking they're getting young talent back. Kthx.

Sad to say, but Devin Harris can't hit threes. Ergo he'd play behind Blake. No point trading for him.

:(
