Been brought up in a couple of threads, but worth repeating, IMO...

Blazers were 23-32 on Feb.13 (St. Jusuf''s Day), after an OT home loss to ATL. That extrapolates to a 34-48 record.
They then went 14-6 with Nurk, including wins over HOU, OKC (2x), ATL and close losses to WAS(!) and MIL. That extrapolates to a 57-25 record, which interestingly enough was the Cavs' record on their way to a #1 seed and the 'ship last year.
From that 23-32 team, we have lost Plumlee, Davis and a healthy Leonard. Without Nurk, we are less talented and less healthy right now than we were on a team cruising for 34-48!

If Nurk doesn't come back, there's no way we should win a game against one of the greatest teams in history. Even winning one would be somewhere between a 1/16 and 2/15 loss in the NCAA tournament. Or like MJ taking on the 86 Celts (if he would've won). Not quite "never been done", but definitely "There's no way that should ever happen, favorite should be ashamed of themselves and bravo to the underdog."

If Nurk does come back, we're talented enough that anything less than a home split would be disappointing.
We beat San Antonio too

Positive thinking: last year, we made our run after Blake Griffin got hurt. Well he just got hurt again soooo....

The attacks on posters who have a differing view than the lemmings, is really too bad. Differing opinions are healthy.

Exactly. Take your own advice.

Also, how did I attack you? I'm not the one that called you a snot nosed lemming.

Nor did I call anyone that. If you took it directed at you, then get a different mirror because you don't seem to like what you see in yours

I'm not the one with constant negative energy on a message board.

Once again, take your own advice.

Guys guys. Let it go. Nurkic is playing. Let's focus on that!

So be like you or else? Seems very odd for the participation generation

You don't see the irony in the most negative person telling someone else they don't like what they see in the mirror?

One day, an NBA team WILL come back from an 0-3 deficit. It will happen. And Warriors know a thing or two about blowing leads.

Damn. Odds are now Against US. Besides all that the refs do not know the difference between a foul and a block . thODGLDEYG.jpg

Like clockwork.

They came back from 17 point deficit on the road without Durant. So, we've gotten blown out without them having Durant, and we lost a big lead without them having Durant.

Yeah, where exactly is the optimism going to come from? Because, this time, Optimism and reality will not be sharing the same road.

And nearly beat them with Durant. Hmmm.

Lost a big lead. No other way around it.

You were expecting something different playing the Warriors? Especially without Nukic or Davis being available? You know, those Warriors guys look pretty damned good to me. They keep bringing quality players off the bench who can still perform even if the guy in front of them in the rotation goes down. The Blazers are getting zilch out of their bench.

Didn't say I expected anything differently.
