Frye failed yet again to secure a rebound. We're lucky Joel was there to back him up.

Yeah, keeping Greg in the game truly is a key to the Blazers' future success. Fortunately, the fouls are sure to decrease as he gets more experience and "ref cred".

Plus in the playoffs they allow a lot more which will help Oden a lot.

There's no question that Cleveland is going to be fighting like hell this game -- Portland's best shot is to keep things close and give themselves a chance to steal it at the end. I don't think any lead is safe against Cleveland's bombers...

Travis hasn't played well at all. But, he has proven that he can turn it on at any time. Any other night, it would be a good idea to not risk that and play Nic a little bit more. But, since we are shorthanded, we are going to have to give him the chance. He can turn his game around. It has happened so many times in the past.

Anyone else dislike the Cavs a little more after their introductions? Lebron taking "photos" of the team with their cocky poses, then of course Lebron throwing the powder everywhere. I didn't know they were THAT full of themselves.

The "photo" thing doesn't bother me because it is a team thing, having fun together. I kind of liked it.

OTOH, I think Lebron's thing with the powder is extremely arrogant and annoying.. just drawing attention to himself.

36 to 34. Ugly, slow game, but at least we have a lead, even if it's just 2.

We may have played some extremely ugly ball, but we completely mucked the game up and slowed the shit out of the game. Honestly, that was the only way to hang in in a game like this where we are shorthanded and against the best home team in the league. Good job.

I'm glad that he hit some shots, but him getting 10 FGA in a half is ridiculous.

Looks to me like the Cavs are doubling off of Channing. He has to take those shots - and make a decent percentage of them - in order to make the Cavs pay for it.

If he was 1-10, you might have a point, but he's been one of the more productive players on the court thus far. Then again, you are the one who thought Ike was a better player than Frye.

We've put ourselves in position to win this game. Cavs shot horribly in the first half and that probably won't continue. Need stay focused on Defense and keep taking it to basket.
