fight back at them. celtics are full of pussy floppers

We just witnessed the most brilliant inbounds play in the history of the NBA. Props to Nate, a genius!!!

The refs had to have screwed that one up. Are you telling me that at then end of the game you could rush 12 players onto the court, inbound the ball for the easy bucket, let the other team take a tech and still win by one?

I don't think so. I think the refs fucked this one up. The NBA is known for havingthe worst refs in sports.

Either way, the inbounder should have caught it and called time-out. Is he even looking at his teammates?

Big laugh but we're losing because of stupid mistakes like this.

They'll probably take the points back and keep the tech they gave the celtics.

I guess we'll find out when they come back from the break. My feeling is that if you can sneak a guy in there and the opposition doesn't catch you before you execute a play then whatever happens before that stands. Don't ever look a gift horse in the mouth.

The technical should have been called before the whistle to allow play to start. I remember seeing it once in the early 90's with the Blazers. If I were officiating (and didn't fear for my safety), I would have called the technical, not counted the basket, run the clock back to when the play started, and let Portland inbound.

That would have caused a riot, I think, but I believe that is what protocol should have been.

Could this be the kind of thing that gets re-done like the end of the Heat game last year? Theoretically, it could impact how the teams play the rest of the game (in a very minor way probably), and if nothing else by the score.

I think you're right. If the refs caught it before the hoop - it's just a tech. They didn't catch it until after Outlaw flushed it - that has to be why it counts.

Portland has the same amount of assists as Boston. I think we're playing well.

im just curious...has bayless made a jump shot in the nba yet?

awful

and rudy looks worst

Your right, it's a GREAT sign! go big man, go!

Seconded. That means "Big Fella" is getting deep post position and making great reads finding the open man. Sure it would be nice to see our guards get in on the act too, but I'll take it.

actually they're playing as bad as i've seen them all year.

MIXUM has spoofed your account. I don't hold you responsible for your words.

It's true we've had some bad play, but we've forced some bad play out of Boston too. Scrapping... we need to know how to do that in order to fulfill the prophecy. And we're learning.

I'm reminded of the Laker game in 2005-2006 when we were depleted and without Zach, but managed to grit out a win.

Dude, anytime LMA shoulder checks someone, and Greg shoulder checks a guard out to the front row, it's a GREAT fucking game!!!!

Get NASTy!!!!

God that 6 on 5 tech could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to the Blazers in this game. They looked real loose going into the locker room

Really? I don't know about you but I've seen most of their games this season. We've played much, much, MUCH worse. The season opener against the Lakers and the last time we played Boston come to mind.

The only thing I don't like about LMA finally making that jumper is if we stop going to Oden because of it.
