Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Is anyone else getting a background sound track?

Yes, I keep hearing commercials very quietly in the background and it is very annoying. Kind of intermittent. Pissing me off, I don't want to be hearing more commercials during the game.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

We just have to take better care of the ball - we're starting to take control of the boards, now protect the basketball.

I have MINET in Monmouth area, on KGW.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Ya, I'm surprise after the TO they didn't take Oden out for the rest of the half.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Man it is snowing like crazy here! We aren't gonna be able to get to philly!!!!!!!!!!

yep, the same thing is happening to me. just got my HD hooked up minutes before the game and was wondering if it was something i screwed up.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Damn...Odens best half of his pro career I would think

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

I'm glad Nate took Sergio out, but I'm surprise he didn't play Bayless.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

nice block and score by Outlaw

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Who said we'd have the lead at the HALF? RODOLFO DID!

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Ooooh! We got good Travis tonight!

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

T-Law baby! What a great last 8 minutes of the half!

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

What a great finishing kick to the half!

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Great run to end the half. Wow, this Bull's team is slowly starting to look as bad as the first time we faced them.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

HCP...hope you didn't forget your mittens at home!

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Good run there at the end of the 2nd to go up by 4 heading into halftime.
If Brandon can get himself going in the second half, we should have this one as a win. If he continues to struggle, we will probably have to gut this one out.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Halftime lead! Much love for Outlaw's game tonight. I like that he's looking to get around his man and get to the rim. He's active on defense although he still needs to help on the boards.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Nice finish of the 1st half by the Blazers. We took care of the ball and took good shots, while defending well and limiting the Bulls to one and dones.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Imagine how good this team will be when Roy, Aldridge and Oden are good at the same time. Oy.

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

Travis and Oden show sprinkled in with a little bit of Blake

You mean "Charles"? Seriously how can they possibly keep calling Travis "Charles". Once i can see, but are they really that uninformed in Chicago that they honestly don't know his freaking name?

Re: Blazers @ Chicago Game Thread

This is how Oden was supposed to play from Day1. Glad to see him living up to potential.
Please be joking, really would like to see any of us try to play NBA level ball after a year long hiatus due to MF surgery and the year prior his shooting wrist was hurt...give the kid time and touches and he will progress

Is that Day1, the day after his surgery? Or, Day1 his first NBA game after not playing competitve ball for almost 18 months?

And, even with the way he dominated in the first half, he's barely scratched the surface of his potential. He still isn't half way through the season following his MF surgery - and he's a rookie. Wait until he gets his quickness and explosiveness back - and learns how to play at the NBA level. He'll be dominating every game. Just give him time. He'll get there. I've never doubted it.
