Derek Rose scored twice while Bayless was in the game. Do you really intend to extend "repeatedly" to include "twice"?

Why is that?
Assists (getting the whole team involved in the offense) is what PG's do. It is their purpose in life, and what makes them so rare and valuable.
SG's who can score are a dime a dozen.
We have 3 on this team (Roy, Rudy and Steve) who are better than Bayless. You could add Martell to that group.

It frustrates me that Oden is not in the game here at the end. He is having one of his best games as a pro and he could have really finished strong.

Bayless was playing PG. He was matched against Rose. He outplayed Rose while he was in the game. You claimed that Rose was making Bayless look bad.

To be more accurate, he scored both times he tried against Bayless, both times leaving him standing at the 3 pt line, drawing a foul on Joel, and scoring a layup. You just can't play defense any feebler than that.

I'm not trying to knock Oden, and i agree, but every big man in the league has a career night against the Bulls. Nick Collison put up 21 and 9 a couple nights ago.

I agree Oden was having a great game and keep the Blazers in the game in the first half. I would like to see Oden back in but I doubt Nate will put him in now.

He did not outplay anyone. He did not even slow down his opponent. He did not help his teammates score. He caused Joel to get 2 fouls. The Blazers were outscored by 6 while he was in.
One of the low points of the game.

Fair enough. Gooden is pretty good offensively... he certainly overpowered Aldridge and was hittin jumpers over Oden tonight. If you could combine Gooden's offense with Thomas's defense, you'd have a pretty good power forward.
