That was his number with the Nets so I'm guessing that the roster listing is just based on that. When/if he ever plays for the Blazers, I'd be shocked if they let him keep that number.

I agree to that statement. Roy set his own legacy amongst blazer fans with fond memories. Everyone will know who he was with his name and not necessary his number. We need to slow down on the numbers being retired!

Sean Williams was signed by the Celtics today. It's amazing how Sean and Shawne have been in the league approximately the same years, with the same suspensions, and the same number of busts.

Maybe writers get them mixed up and ascribe the same infractions to both.
