Per the article above. I have to say I'm somewhat surprised. I think this is part of the reason why we are seeing deep discounts this season as well.

If I remember correctly ticket prices were increased top-to-bottom in the summer of 2007, along with having Roy and Aldridge, when we drafted Oden.

I think or at least hope they drop the prices back down to where they were pre-Oden.

Assuming the sellout streak continues (I have my doubts) then I don't see the prices dropping any time soon, but if things really do start to unravel, then I get the feeling we'll see a slight downward adjustment.

It's just business. They took advantage/capitalized of one of the most dedicated fanbases in all of pro-sports.
