I'm hoping they're at a high competitive level over the next few games while keeping me entertained.

Draco is a bad fan. Period.
Nonetheless, I'll bet you HCP's $100 we win the series.
Sweet. So if Clips win the series, HCP owes you $100. If the Blazers win the series, you pay me $100.

Auntie Em, and not really, unless you're a Kansas dirt farmer during the Depression in which case, probably, a little...Someone should tell Em we don't want to see them bare assing.... unless Em is short for Emily...... and is she hot?
It's landscaper money, so it's not really real...For a person who has previously said they don't gamble, you sure have been gambling a lot.
Yes it does! Should we not cheer at Moda because according to you, we have no chance?
If it wasn't true the thread wouldn't hurt. Accept it; come to terms with the loss and move on. You'll feel better.
Why did this need a new thread considering it says almost EXACTLY the same thing as the "harsh reality" thread?

I only read threads I create.

Sometimes it's okay to keep your opinions to yourself though.Quitting on the team makes you a bad fan.
No, he's entitled to his opinion.
Yes if HCP pay me. If not you owe me $100.
Have whatever response you want. I'm interested if some posters agree with me and have arrived at similar conclusions. If a poster has a contrasting rebuttle and writes a well thought out post I'm interested to read that as well. You have a fine outlook in how you're going to watch the team.
For me it's a lot more enjoyable to watch the team from a realistic perspective and think of what we could improve on next season.
I'm going to cheer for the Blazers here at home. Doesn't mean I think they can win the series. If I was at the game I'd cheer as well.
So you think believing no matter the circumstances; having blind faith a team will win is what makes someone a good fan? No wonder you have such unrealistic projections every year with this team. Last year you repeatedly said we'd win in the playoffs after Wes injury; similar to Dallas winning a title when Caron Butler got injured. This year you predicted the team would win 55 games and somehow have turned that into a narrative your preseason expectations for the team were spot on.
I know nothing I say will change you're opinion; that's not the purpose of my posts. I'm posting to third party reasonable posters. They agree with me more often than your outlandish statements. Best of luck to you Kingspeed of fighting the good fight, predicting ultimate glory for the Blazers every second of every day no matter what. Some of us express our fandom in other ways. Your hopes of success doesn't make you a better fan than anyone else.
And I'm entitled to mine. He's a bad fan.
SlyPokerDog = bad fan

Hmm... I'm about to listen to game 2.
Seems the series isn't over.
THAT'S the realistic view. Oh, how some forget.
Your not watching it?
