Blazers have no chance to win this series; are you excited for next season?

I don't blame Draco for thinking the Blazers were major underdogs, but this gets back to something Zach Lowe said about blowing up really good teams that seem just short of true title contention (in the case of the Clippers)...you never know when an injury will suddenly clear your way or give you a shot.
I blame Draco for trolling.

Then don't use the word. You knew people would have an issue with it, and you act surprised.

Btw, Draco already ate his crow. Did you miss that?

In my eyes, he admitted it. We can move on.

Actually I didnt think it would have this reaction. I thought the focus was on the thread itself. I was playing devils advocate. Im sorry I didnt use green font, but I take nothing away. I already explained myself and I would us it again if I deem/ feel like it. But I will use green font for those that are so touchy as to focus on one single word and not the basis of the post in context to the thread.

Sure, I can, because calling this thread a knee-jerk reaction is a stretch. It was a silly opinion, and premature, but it's not like he created this thread immediately after the game. And I think it's wrong to come back to this thread and jump on Draco when it's very possible we could be down 3-1 if Paul doesn't go down.

You and KOR jumped on me for saying that the game wasn't over, but I was merely correcting Orion for thinking that the game was already won before Paul went down. I'm not sure how you can defend jumping on me for that post.

Nah, he made himself fair game by calling me delusional about one of my ideas. So When you poke like that you should be expected to get poked back when you do similar things. Sorry you think its wrong, but what comes around goes around. :)

lol. You know the power of the word you used.

And on the other part. He ate his crow, leave him at that.

You actually don't know if he put you on ignore....

Your right. Im not sure how ignore works, but I see this post now. I was assuming he had me on ignore because I dont see anymore of his posts, but maybe he isnt posting anymore in here since the crow.

All good. He still ignores me when I direct actual questions or rebuttals towards him, so I have no clue. But until he acknowledges, I will assume and act as though he does. So I still get my own parade. :)

I do have Tunchi and Orion on ignore; although every once in a while I show ignores and read them. Tunchi for obvious reasons, Orion because his posts often ramble on with no substance for too long, sort of like this post. Wish Orion the best though; and hope Tunchi can improve his excessive negativity. I've tried desperately to put Strennus on ignore but it won't let me do it for mods. I accepted Sly's offer of $20 paypal payment to ban him but now he won't give me an address to pay for it.

I did create the thread before game 2; and it was as much a therapeutic effort for me to cope with the eventual coming losses as anything else. I did believe we had no reasonable chance at all at that point. Griffin looked decent his last game of the regular season; better in game 1 against us. CP3 looked amazing, far superior to Dame, and that continued every minute of this series. Redick didn't appear limited in any way from his heel injury, and had the best season of his career. Can you really blame a Blazers fanatic who's been beaten down over the years as much as we all have? 98 percent of experts picked us to lose the series. I try to take an objective look; I thought it was reasonable we'd even fight for a playoff spot back in the preaseason so its not as if I'm a troll who always predicts doom.

That all three injuries would impact the Clippers as they have in 6 days seems so unlikely I don't know what to think of my prediction. Yeah that first post looks stupid now but was this within the realm of realistic outcomes? I'm certainly not complaining.

But before I eat my big plate of crow we need to close the deal with this series. With all that's happened we still have to win a game on the road against the Clippers. This is a Clippers squad that won in Utah sitting all their starters when Utah desperately needed the game for the playoffs. The Clippers are only a 2 point underdog after the Griffin injury. We've lost to far inferior opponents this season. I'd now rank us as the favorite. Hopefully we're talking about the Warriors on Sunday.

Draco, don't worry about it. The Blazers really did not have much of a chance to win the series if it weren't for these injuries. We could have still pulled off game 2, but slim chance we'd have won in LA.

I just think it would be awesome if we win game 5 and Mark Mason comes back for game 6 and Damian shouts RIP CITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY into the mic again!

I'm excited to watch game 5
