The question is great too. I guess lots of people are noticing something isnt right. Ok homers...

see this is why blazer fans get mocked.

you cant say anything negative (in this case its 100% true what J.A. said) and you have to attack me. Im just posting what he said. Relax little one... and dont be mad cause the J.A. speaks the truth.
Ok.

You do that all the time, so learn to take it since you can dish it out very well at times.

Once again, MIXIM the Troll makes himself the center of attention while the mods just sit around with their arms folded.

Actually I was driving home from work. And will be napping within 7 minutes. Don't misrepresent my actions while this thread happened.

As for the thread itself: we don't need a dynamic personality. We just need really good basketball players and I like our chances.

This team is still very young and it should get better as it matures... I don't give a rat's ass about "dynamic personalities".

Somebody made him the center of attention. I'm not sure it was him.

A poster calling out moderators for not disciplining a poster making himself "the center of attention" is definitely ironic.

I don't care about dynamic personalities. I care about dynamic games. And Brandon Roy has a dynamic game.

You use the word 'homer' like it's an insult. Unlike you we actually root for our home team, instead of choosing a favorite from television. Sure, it was hard not to like the Bust-A-Bucket crew, but if you're an east coast guy, stick with your teams. You probably have a hard on for the Cowboys, too. I bet Rudy Cee here had a Jordan jersey, too.

Being a homer is commendable. 'Finding' a team because you saw them on TV is lame. Sticking with your team and being optimistic is commendable. Finding fault and doing a bad chicken little impression is not. deleted

I don't know about dynamic personalities, but it bears noting that Greg Oden's penis is more famous, at a comparable age, than Wilt Chamberlain's was.

Will Oden's penis keep up the pace as he gets older? That would be difficult, but not impossible. At the very least, I think it's a good media storyline, so I can't see how this team is boring.

Well, that was a bit uncomfortable...

dynamic personalities cam be important in close games, especially on the road or in the playoffs to get the team fired up. That being said, talent is much more important. But excluding talent for the moment and just focusing on dynamic personalities, we have to remember that this team is still young and most young dynamic personalities are more detrimental than beneficial to their teams. It is good that at the moment our youngsters are more concerned with team play than being a focal point. But in the future as the players mature, I could see several Blazers emerge as positive dynamic personalities, in particular, Batum and Bayless, and perhaps Oden. Batum and Bayless have both shown flashes of extreme intensity. But for now I am content to just have talent.

The phrase "dynamic personality" was, IMHO, poorly choosen....but I understand what he is getting at.

On a team of vets, it is fine to rely on guys who lead by example. On a younger team, you sometimes needs guys who aren't afraid to speak up. Howard seems to have the right idea, but he is not enough of a "star" for it to work.

I don't think it's a matter of 'dynamic personalities' per se, but I do think this team lacks a certain swagger or toughness ... it kind of reminds of the Blazers team when Shuler was the coach and before they traded for Buck; there IS a missing ingredient (and I don't thnk it's just Oden)

There has been a missing ingredient since 1977. I do like Juwan leading the NBA in flagrant fouls, though.
