TRAIL BLAZERS STAY HOT WITH 10TH STRAIGHT WIN AGAINST THE HEAT
Portland Holds Longest Current Streak in the NBA

PORTLAND – The Trail Blazers extended the NBA’s longest active winning streak with their 10th straight victory, 115-99, Monday night against the Miami Heat before a sellout crowd of 19,786 at Moda Center. Portland’s 10 straight wins represent the team’s longest streak since they won 11 straight in November of 2013 games.

The current streak marks the 10th time in franchise history in which Portland has won at least 10 games in a row during a single season. The string of wins includes two victories against Golden State, and wins over division rivals Minnesota, Oklahoma City and Utah, all of whom are also fighting for playoff positioning.

Next game against the Cavs is one of the toughest games left on the schedule. We play the Rockets twice, Celtics, Thunder, PeliCANs, and Spurs, too.
Need to go just 9-6 over their final 15 games in order to finish with a 50-win season. If they win just 1 of the 7 you listed, and win all the others not mentioned, they can get there.

Cavs game will be tough as it is the kind of game LeBron will step up in. They've been struggling and he will want to get the ship righted.

Would you say the schedule is about to get tougher? If so, you could have posted this in our THE SCHEDULE IS ABOUT TO GET TOUGHER thread. Denny, just because this is your site, that doesn't mean you can just go all rookie on us and create a new thread every time a damn though floats thru your huge head! HA!

He probably figured you'd have deleted that thread since the Blazers have gone 9-0 since you posted it.

Looking at the list of threads in the forum, none tell the story about how we're on this big long win streak.

I like to get the news by reading just the titles, at first.

Even Rich Eisen mentioned Portland on his show this AM, and says Dame has to be in consideration for MVP!!

For the record the Blazers had the league's longest current winning streak before the Heat game so this thread is a couple days late.

I also liked being able to cite the article from Blazers.com :)

But... but... mediocrity...

Not all of us have hours of free time every day to read every post on every thread in this forum. Some of us have real jobs, and a whole heck of a lot of us have to spend at least a couple hours a day, if not longer, in the Mrs. HCP line.
