The positive is that the schedule gets significantly easier from here on. Although if they drop one of the next two games, there's probably going to be some concerns...

You gotta figure that one of these days, we'll successfully complete one of these comebacks. Oh well...

No Brandon Roy anymore

We'd be doing really well now if our guards could just hit at a decent rate. Despite all the problems with this team. Just flat out, not making shots, playing with no energy for big streches. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother watching these bozos....

8-22

Wesley was another kind of awful tonight though.

LA: 19 FGAs ... and over 50% at that.

I don't give a damn why Crawford was brought here ... or why he thinks he was brought here ... or what Nate thinks he should be doing. Jamal taking more shots than LA just shouldn't happen (something tells me this is as much about LaMarcus needing to be a little more demanding of his guards).

Aldridge did demand the ball late. They had a hard time getting it to him. Once he got it he was doubled. Once he made his move he was tripled. No one made a shot to bail out Aldridge. On one possession, Aldridge got into the paint but was surrounded and didn't take his usual fadeaway. Passed out to Matthews who drove and clanked a short jumper. Story of the game.

It's not just the end of game situations (although those matter too) it just seems like there are so many times when Felton or Crawford decide to go on-on-one where LMA doesn't touch the ball multiple possessions in a row. If guys were taking rhythm shots off of passes or out of the doubles and triples that Aldridge draws then I have no problem with that kind of shot selection, it's all the rest of it that makes me cringe.

Don't think it helped that Nate mentioned maybe one day the Blazers hanging Crawford's jersey just like they could/would with Roy's

I think Nate has tried his best to turn Crawford into another version of Roy

Scary

Of course. That's a given. Crawford missed 9 in a row at one point before finishing 6/11...
