I would have really enjoyed this win if LaMarcus had played under 40 minutes...

:drumroll:

Remember when people used to say that Aldridge was almost, but not quite as good as Bosh?

Yeah, because it was true at the time. In fact, in my opinion, Bosh was considerably better than Aldridge prior to this year. Bosh's career has really derailed in Miami and Aldridge's career has suddenly flourished. I'm pretty happy about the Aldridge development. Aldridge is legitimately one of the top several big men in the NBA now. I think I'd only rank Howard and Gasol clearly ahead of him.

I've never believed it was true and I said so at the time. Bosh's numbers were inflated as the #1 guy on a shitty team.

It wasn't just stats. Aldridge is visibly a different player now. He's dominant in the post consistently, whereas before he couldn't score at will inside and had to rely on his jump shot being on. When it wasn't, he wasn't terribly productive. Bosh was a true go-to guy, bad team or not. Now, Bosh seems unable to adapt to being the third option and Aldridge has figured out how to beat defenders out of the post consistently.

He's still 18/8 on the Heat. He's just being told to play like a SF and it's killing his game. His role is totally different.

I'd still take this Aldridge over the Bosh of last year, though. I like his back to the basket game while Bosh mostly faces up.

But that's his game, a 6'11" SF jumpshooter with no post game AT ALL.

Sitting in a bar here in Miami drinking my ass off!!! Listening to techno house dance music while Wheelz is calling the rebroadcast of the game on tv! What a great night to be a trailblazer!

If you see Mills, give him some props for taking the charge on LeBron. That had to be a little scary for him.

Fucking awesome.

Just browsing the yahoo boxscore, how the hell did they only give Wallace only 1 block? He had like 4 I swear.

Lakers just showed up to our hotel! Who will pay me to go fuck with Kobe!!!!????

You and some of the Blazers players should kidnap Kobe at night and lock him in a closet or something and then no one has to worry about the Lakers. :)

Get a pic of you giving him the finger, in person, and I'll give you $20!

About to go read this thread..... see ya in a bit FAMS!

For the record, I've never seen Miller more excited at the end of a game. Did anyone else catch him vigorously clapping when we were running out the clock? It wasn't "Blase 'Dre" that I've come to know and love. He must have really wanted this game.

He did it in such a exaggerated manner that I felt he was getting back at the Heat for something they did like that, but I don't know what they did if anything.

Check out highlights and Dre's clapping here:

I think it as his way of getting back at this:
