excellent decision by Jeffries to try and go for a charge with 2 seconds left.

Jared came over to take the charge and left his man on the baseline. Good find.

Our supposed best player Aldridge gives us 0 points in the 4th quarter. We lose, its on him.

If the only difference between Portland winning and losing is how many points LaMarcus gives them in the 4th quarter, they're not good enough to win against the Hornets period.

Why the FUCK was Aldridge not in the game on that defensive possession?

Stotts has stupid ass plays. Why try and run it for Lillard? Good thing he isn't good or anything.

Smash the Spurs, lose to the Hornets who are on the second of a back to back. That's your 2012-2013 Blazers.

That logic doesn't make sense.

I have no problem with Matthews getting the shot. He's been hot all night and the other team is focused on Lillard after he hit the last one.

Yes it does. the Blazers shouldn't have had to depend on him scoring to beat the Hornets. The Hornets are a bad team. And if the only difference between them and the Blazers is whether or not LaMarcus scores in the 4th, they wouldn't have beaten them.

Wes was my second choice, but that was a piss poor play to run. It really had no chance. I'm sorry, but I'm going to try my hardest to be creative and try and run a play for the guy who is the star of the team as well as the guy who just made a 3 previously. If that fails then so be it, but the first option is for Lillard and then find anything else you can if that breaks down.

That is the play they always run for Nic. It's the one where he hit the game winner against the Cavs. They ran it for Wes this time instead of Nic because he was hot.

Meyers Leonard DNP - Coach's Decision

I hear he plays center, when allowed.

Continually leaving outside shooters open and playing terrible interior defense, giving up offensive rebounds......how can you expect to win??? That was TERRIBLE. Oh, and the foul with 1.8 to go? If you're gonna foul someone, make sure he doesn't get a shot up!

Wes had like 21 points in the second half, I think. I would've gone to Batum though. He is better at the quick 3 from the corner.

Lamarcus does play like a girl a lot of the time, not gonna lie. He is a very frustrating player.

That was a pretty terrible call TBH. When a player throws himself into another when the game is on the line just leave it as a no call and if it goes in it goes in. Not a good play by Jefferies anyway.

Im not debating that Wes wasn't hot. He was, Im debating giving Lillard more of an opportunity here to either give him the ball or more chances. Are we just going to keep straying away from him in the future because people are guarding/focused on him? Like people don't guard Kobe or Lebron on in bound plays. Soon it will be Lillards's team with or without Aldridge.

Not a good idea to try for a charge at the end of a game. Not at all. I would rather the guy gets hammered to the ground instead.
