Blazers @ Kings 10/7/09 Highlights

I think Juwon Howard (after Travis is traded) will help out team.

We look really good you guys!!! I have not felt this good about a team we have had since the Clyde days.

Ya, Bayless can flat out play. Hopefully we keep him.

I think he's got a lot of great physical tools, but I'm still waiting to see the playmaking tools catch up a little bit.

Hopefully Andre's game rubs off on him a little bit, it was interesting to read a couple of comments in the game thread (posted by somebody who watched the game live) on blazersedge.com. Somebody pointed out how Andre at one point was calling the play for Jerryd from the baseline and another time got on his ass when they were running the break and Jerryd had Miller on the wing, and instead of passing it to him or the other open wing, he bull rushed the defense and picked up a charge.

The teacher is there, but is the student listening?

I found the end very humorous...

"Who would the Kings go to? who would they try to get to win this thing?" Then they show Sergio taking a long contested 3. :biglaugh:

I think he is listening. But I also think, he thinks he is a better player than Miller!

and the play before that he turned it over at a critical moment....ouch... :(

Didn't it look like Bayless traveled on that dunk?

If Miller can be the blue fairy to Bayless' Pinocchio ("I want to be a real-live point guard!"), then Mike Rice will have been dead wrong on his team MVP prediction.

And yet... his +/- was a ridiculous +7 in only 5 minutes of play. The Kings outscored the Blazers by more than a point a minute while he was on the floor. Kevin Martin, by contrast, was a -10 in 35 minutes.

Last night? Can't say I agree, the game sounded really sloppy with turnovers, offensive fouls and at times they could barely hold the Kings at bay ... granted they sat a lot of guys and the two best players on our team didn't do a whole lot, but last night is not what I would call a confidence inspiring performance -- this team has a lot of work to do.

He's fucking insane then ...

Hilarious, that's the best line I've read around here in weeks.

Here's another HL clip

Am I your target for the week? lol I am flattered.

Man, that NBA.com clip had waaaaaay too many Kings highlights.

Watching those highlights, I really can't believe how much quicker and how much more "spring" Greg has this year.

I know I should have expected it, and told myself he would bounce back after getting into shape and rehabbing, but DANG the difference in quickness and agility is like night-and-day.

It was almost weird watching him in that first game. Totally different guy out there. His improved confidence, so far, has been very nice as well. Can't wait for the season to start.

Yup, that BRoy miss off the shot clock where he got the board and quickly went to the hoop...NICE!

I think this could have a HUGE impact on Bayless's career. He needs to suck up as much knowledge and instinct from Andre as possible!
