Man K-Mart is a difference maker. The Kings are a totally different team with him in the game.

Man nobody can stop K-mart. He is sure better then I thought and I thought he was a pretty good player.

Joel seems to be moving a little better then I remember plus his hands seems better tonight.

I will admit up-front that I am not watching the game, I'm watching game-cast.

I will admit to being a bit disappointed. We have the full team playing and I do not view the Kings as a quality team (i.e., vying for a playoff spot) and yet here we are struggling with them.

Are the Kings better than I envision? Are the Blazers on cruise-control? This does not give me warm-fuzzies as I look forward to the Lakers on opening night.

Gramps...

i'm cutting us a little slack because we haven't played for a week. we will need better outside shooting to make the playoffs though.

Batum looks ok but not shooting good tonight. LMA looks great and keeping us in the lead. Oden also looks real good IMO. Rudy looked good early but hasn't done much lately. I think having Blake is going to help our team with Sergio the backup PG. Bayless has hardly played tonight.

can I get a quick recap of how Batum and others have looked?

Batum still looks a bit raw. He's making little mistakes here and there...travel, missing close shots....he does play some ok defense but was getting eaten up early on. I don't think he can start opening night.......looking more and more like Rudy time.

I knew Outlaw wasn't going to pass. LOL. Nice pump fake to get the rookie to bite.

That travel was questionable. I wanted a replay of that. I don't think the refs make that call on Roy.

I was glad to see Outlaw give the ball back for the last basket to Rudy. I didn't want to see him try to force the shot when they had a 2 on 1 break. I think it was Rudy and Outlaw that caused those TO's.

This was my impression from the parts of the game I listen to on the radio . . . I was hoping for a bit more from Blake, Roy, Aldridge, Oden line up.

The first part of the schedule has me very concerned right now.

Batum has rebounded well, but how he gets 9 shots in 17 minutes with the starters baffles me.

Anyhow, this looks like a team that hasn't played a game in over a week.

Alright, starters from both teams!

Rudy looks really good and is playing the point right now.

The Blazers just need to find someone who can guard Kevin Martin.

My heart just stopped when Oden was splayed out on the florr with his legs going in opposite directions!
