Blazers @ Kings - GAME THREAD

Welcome to our community

Our starters have played their best ball the past month or so while the bench has absolutely sucked!

Bayless hurts the team when he's on the floor now. Rudy has been 'meh.

Some of it's confidence, but whatever the reason, it's killing the flow of the game when he's playing the (so called) point guard position.

I think we need a great nickname for our fabulous bench, like the Super Subs!

Cause they're just so God-damned SUPER!!!

It's incredibly how they just intimidate and dominate their opponent. The other team is terrified! WOOOOO! GO BENCH GO!
:chestbump:

you spelled crappy wrong.

The Kings are hot with the jump shot tonight ... this one is going to the wire.

Fucking Batum and his sweet D... Tyreke is on my fantasy team. Kings announcers have been raving about him all game

I'll give Bayless credit for 'trying' to play tight man-to-man D, but his awareness of who to rotate to and how to recover off of a pick leave a lot to be desired.

This game should not be close, but a better effort from Roy tonight.

all our starters have played amazing. Good thing our bench is... umm... good thing our bench is kept shiny from 8 guys who can't seem to do anything on the floor.

Hey, I'll give the Kings some credit, that team is going to be pretty goddamn tough in another year or two -- Landry, Reke, Thompson, and some of those wings like Casspi and Greene, with a really nice guard in Udrih who can play the 1 or 2 on offense -- nice win on the road.

MIXIM would call this an excuse.

Whatever Monty has done with Nic in his one on one sessions to get his outside shot dialed in is incredible; he wasn't a 'bad' shooter by any means previously, but his stroke looks so pure now and his confidence is so high -- awesome stuff.

Cool. I'll make excuses for wins any day of the week.
especially road wins. Beno and Thompson were better then I've ever seen them, but Nik and the interior D (Camby/LA) really shut down Tyreke and the paint. Blazer starters were clearly the best unit throughout the game and they didn't have foul issues. Even with the game close at the start of the 4th I was confident that come the end they'd clamp down and pull it out.

You're right, my funny posts and timely wit saved the day (as usual)

An odd game. The starters looked very solid, and the bench was real wobbly.

In fairness, the Kings have got some nice pieces in place, and this was not a "gimme" win. Still, the bench has to be a concern going into the post-season.
