Being as it is nigh to turn into the 11th here. I figure I ought to get my prediction in for the game. It will happen while I'm at work so won't get a chance to even check on it.

What do I expect? Sloppiness & more sloppiness.

What do I hope? Lillard gives Nash a challenge. Someone from the bench shows some potential.

That said, the prediction:

Blazers 91
Lakers 94

No. Not a lot of confidence in our guys - first game, lack of experience, etc., etc.

I hope to be wrong.

Gramps...

the final score in a preseason game like this IMO is pretty meangingless, what I want to see is the new offense and how all the new players and the vets look in it. I expect some sloppiness and know that it will take time, but I want to see some "stretches of play" that impress me. Lillard, Freeland and Meyers are the guys I am most anxious to watch tonight.

I'm going to foolishly believe that our bench is way better than theirs, and that that will be a major factor in a preseason game.

Blazers 95
Lakers 85

Trail Blazers - 84
Lakers - 78

Kobe and Nash wont play much and Howard isnt playing at all.

My prediction is more about the response to the game rather than the game itself.

If the Blazers win, national media + Dave from BlazersEdge: "The game is meaningless!"
If the Blazers lose, national media + Dave from BlazersEdge: "See what I've been saying, Blazers suck! Take the under on the 35.5."

The only one who can gain any respect nationally tonight is Lillard, he needs to have a good game. Anthony Davis just got 22 and 9.

Here's my crazy prediction
Blazers - 93
Lakers - 73
I don't think nash/artest/pau/Kobe get more them 10m and I doubt Jamison gets over twenty while I think our starters get a good run.
