@JakeLFischer: On POR/Sixers discussion, league sources say Blazers are interested in using No. 23 to acquire an established big man, not get more picks.

23 for Taj. Slam dunk. Bulls would do it.

@JakeLFischer: As POR's fears of losing Aldridge grow, Blazers trying to using No. 23 to acquire a big to either help replace LMA or bolster FC around him.

Covington? Not a lot of options on that roster.

Solid outside shot. Really blossomed in Philly after bouncing around.

Only 24.

Taj just had ankle surgery. He's out 4 months.

@daldridgetnt: If @KevinDing says it's Russell for the Lakers, they have a big in their back pocket via free agency/trade....

For some reason I think Olshey is really targeting Prozingis. Weird feeling. Dunno...

Wouldn't surprise me to hear Faried/JV's name.

Obviously it'd be more than just the pick.

So what are the chances that we end up signing Love?

I'd rather have Love than Aldridge right now to be perfectly honest. Love actually likes Portland.

He's a worse player overall, but a better offensive player, and would make the team pretty fun to watch.

EDIT: Forgot he's younger too, so there's always the chance he learns how to be acceptable on defense.

What if we were able to sign Love AND someone like Danny Green? That's like Stotts' wet dream right there.

Dame
Crabbe (?)
Green
Love
Nards

Threes! Threes everywhere!
Entertaining and most likely enough to make the playoffs. Will never contend for a title.

I would do it at this point. If we renounced everyone except Aldridge, did a sign and trade with San Antonio for Green, and signed Love outright, I wonder if that would work under the cap?

Love at max is 20 million a year, right?

We could do a sign-and-trade with San Antonio where Green gets 12-13 million a year and we absorb the rest into our cap?

I would rather build with Leonard and Vonleh. Love's biggest strength is his outside shooting. Leonard can do that. Not as well but he can do it. I would rather go after a SF. I know we can't get Kawhi or Draymond Green but I would offer the max to both to make sure SA and GS has to match.

If SA goes after LMA, can we offer Kawhi a front loaded contract?

I don't think Love wants to come to Portland.
Yeah I don't see this as well. If not Cleveland, it's going to be Los Angeles.

It really sucks that Lakers are in the driver's seat because they have Aldridge or Love as possibles with Boogie as the main trading partner
