The Blazer management knew Roy had serious knee issues, but clearly the full extent was hidden to them by Roy and his agent. It had to have been as KP was pulled from the contract negotiations by Vulcan and Larry Miller completed it (for the same deal I might add- way to get tough, Larry). But it is indeed a chronic fail by Allen, Vulcan, Miller and KP. No one had the guts to take on "the face of the franchise" and risk losing him over very questionable knees.

You might say Blazer management was weak kneed over all this.
