It's interesting. A lot of history. But it's in BAD shape man. Other than a SUN or STAX records museums, MLK, Civil Rights museums, Beale Street and Graceland it's a dump. Glad I have been able to come here and see it, but if you can go somewhere, I'd go to New Orleans. I know a lot of people who HATE NOLA, but they aren't going to the right places. TONS to do there if you plan right.

I guess I did leave out the bomb food here in Memphis. You could come down here for 2 days and see everything. Just watch your back, not that safe.
I was in NOLA in 98 for a home inspectors convention . There are shady parts but if you stay in the tourist area you were OK. One of my old friends from a municipality I worked for went to Memphis and he said the same thing as you.

I'm friends with a couple who grew up in Memphis, lived there their whole lives, and moved here last year. You couldn't pay them enough money to go back. They are happy they got their kids out of there. They say Nashville is nice though. I have a friend from here who is in the music industry who moved to Nashville and his family loves it there.
I had a friend who was a phenomenal keyboardist and he went on to form a company that produced music clips and special effects for minor league baseball. His company was/is centered in Nashville.

Hey since youve been traveling with the team, has having a day off in between games during this trip helped you guys with fatigue. I’m sure traveling that much is still pretty tiring. Just wondering if not having to do back to backs and fly all over has helped.
The days off have helped. Back to backs are brutal. 3 games in 5 nights wear you out!!! But we (media guys) are beat just because it's been 15 straight days on the go. And these 2 afternoon games have really thrown our clocks off. Love my gig though. I've had REAL jobs, so I ain't complaining.

That other thread is LAME. Probably talking about Delon Wright's dtf% and Jevon Carter's dfa% and it it applies to back screens when you switch out of a trap. Right? Applying their immense amounts of basketball experience telling each other they are wrong! Weak sauce. This is where you should be come game time FAMS!

I travel some for work, but its usually like 4-5 days and only a few times a year. I cant imagine traveling that much. Hope you guys (all of you) have had a good trip, even outside of basketball. For those of you with spouses and kids, seems like it would be brutal. Nothing of course as bad as the military life, but still hard.

When I was in the army, I had no family, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Could put all my attention on being a stone cold assassin collecting confirmed kills. Yeah, being away from the kids is tough.
