well thought I'd check in....HCP posts 29 times and about 3 hecklers...like a Tues night open mike in Bumfuck Alabama....I do like the new format though with the giant pictures and 3 word captions...reminds me of grade school....See Spot run....Jane likes Spot...Dick likes Jane...feel like I need some crayons!

I enjoyed my time in Memphis, but I only spent like 1/2 a day there...
From what I'm told you definitely don't want to be around the downtown Gremlins after midnight.

Who wants to be our "Rodney Hood" in Memphis on Tuesday Night? We need a 25+ scorer from the bench.
How about Jake scores 30 points tomorrow to lead us to a win?
We can't afford to lose in Memphis again this year. Last year, we were embarrassed in Memphis, when Dame missed the game.

I have never seen as many boarded up shops as when I drove through Memphis 5 years ago from the downtown towards Nashville. Sketchy at best. Nashville, on the other hand, was a lot of fun.

I'll take "6 or so guys in double figures and cruise to an easy W" for $500 Alex.

It's interesting. A lot of history. But it's in BAD shape man. Other than a SUN or STAX records museums, MLK, Civil Rights museums, Beale Street and Graceland it's a dump. Glad I have been able to come here and see it, but if you can go somewhere, I'd go to New Orleans. I know a lot of people who HATE NOLA, but they aren't going to the right places. TONS to do there if you plan right.

I guess I did leave out the bomb food here in Memphis. You could come down here for 2 days and see everything. Just watch your back, not that safe.
I agree its very dirty and crowded.
Nashville /Knoxville are very clean and with much more going on, imo.
