Honestly, someone needs to teach Greg Shaq's baseline spin move. All he has right now is the back-down, then skip pass to the wing if he can't dunk it. Baseline spin move, up-and-under dunk!
Oden's court vision and passing out of the post looks really good. He seems unhurried and poised. As he becomes comfortable and practiced in his post offense, he's going to be unguardable. One on one, he'll kill post-defenders. Double or triple team him and he'll hit cutters and perimeter shooters for wide-open opportunities.
Rave reviews in limited sample by Oden. He's made the right pass every time down the court, has had good position (although he needs to coral that ball that Wade was OOB on), and obviously the block and dunk.
For the late-night film sessions, Oden needs to watch Shaq and Hakeem. Just pick two moves, and practice them over and over. With the baseline spin and Dream Shake (and the dunk), he'd be pretty darned good.
Already drawing a double and is effective about kicking out to Fernandez on the elbow for threes. Like the offensive potential there. Could become unstoppable one day.
We're trying to force it down low to Oden and it's resulting in alot of turnovers, not necassarily Oden turning it over but mostly bad passes and guys not being ready. If the 2nd unit would just play like they have in the last few games I think we'd be doing even better right now, although I'll take an 11 point lead on the road for now.
