Don't get me wrong I think Nate is a very good coach, but I think he is a Great Coach the way PJ was a great coach. Excellent at teaching but terrible at managing. Nate would be elite at the college level, but he simply is not of the mold to deal with NBA players. He literally coaches this team like a college squad.
 
16 points 7 rebounds 2 blocks, 5/7 from the field and 6/6 from the line in 16 minutes.

Now THAT'S production.

Too bad he fouled out. Stupid refs.
 
Argh well at least he ended on a beasty tear! From the sound of the crowd the call was bullshit too crowd when apeshit when they saw the replay.
 
Oden finishes the night with 16 min, 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks, shooting 5 of 7 from the field and 6 of 6 from the charity stripe. Pretty nice line.
 
Oden:

16 points, 7 boards, 2 blocks in 16 minutes before fouling out.

Come on refs. I don't want to watch this crap, and I won't if the real refs aren't brought back into action.
 
It sucks that he fouled out, but Greg went straight BEAST MODE for a stretch there.

More proof at how horrendous the refs are.

Who wants to watch scrubs? Now I see why Nate is leaning towards bringing Oden off of the bench, considering the clowns blowing the whistles.
 
Roy is the other Blazer who has had a great 4th quarter. He is doing all he can in his limited minutes.

I was definitely being reactionary. I'm not completely right in the head when it comes to Oden...want the guy to be a consistent beast more then I can possibly say. The whole Oden is a bust thing made me very bitter and over protective when it comes to Oden. Ridiculous I know.

You haven't been following preseason have you. Prior to tonight he had 12 fouls 118 minutes. Joel had 10 in 76 minutes.

Yes, I have been following the preseason. I've seen the obscene amounts of fouls called. That Oden hadn't yet been a victim of this is a secondary point.

Have you followed the preseason? It doesn't appear so to me.

Plus, Joel's fouls aren't the issue to me. It is protecting Oden's foul trouble. You haven't been following this board, have you?
