Yup. You are not predicting how many points they will score, but their total contribution points.

Contribution points are calculated as follows:

Points + Rebounds + (Assists * 1.5) + (Blocks * 1.5) + (Steals * 2) - (Turnovers *2).

If I read it correctly Lillard had the following:

37 points
5 rebounds
7 assists
3 steals
1 block
5 turnovers

37 + 5 + 10.5 + 6 + 1.5 - 10 = 50 contribution points.

The rules for the contributor rankings have been provided for a while and we did a test run in the preseason. I always just add roughly ten to what I think the persons point total will be to get my total number.

It is just a crap shoot taking a guess for it. I don't put much thought into it, just something else to feel like a loser about or feel superior to others about..haha.
