I would rather have a half starved chimp randomly slap at the keyboard for articles then Canzano.

The Bald Faced Fuck is the sports writing equivalent of an abulance chaser.

He probably gets a hard on everytime he finds out about another Blazer fan with a terminal illness.

Yeah, I hate his seasonal guilt trip articles.

Repped! If some Blazer fan doesn't die soon, he won't win that sportswriter's award again! He's reprehensible, exploiting that girl for readership like that.

it was from horses mouth...

or in this case the gimps mouth

Not so, but I wouldn't expect that would get in the way of your predictions.
When ask if he would be ready to play by Christmas, Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden threw up his hands and shrugged.

“I wish I could honestly say there’s a timeline, but there’s not,” he said. “There’s good days and bad days.”
I didn't see anywhere in there that said "I won't play until after Christmas". One would think that if he's going "full-speed" through drills Oct. 7, then it may just be what he said...there isn't a timeline. I take it as a positive that he's out there running full-speed, full-court and working on his low post offense.

If the reporter would've asked "are you playing Oct. 31?", and Oden shrugged and said "there isn't a timeline", would you say he'd be back Nov. 1?

I hope you aren't expecting him to respond to this.

More from Brian:

Oden is jumping well. Good spring and leap. Przybilla -- who looks leaner -- is going nearly full speed with some good "arghs!

Wasn't that question asked after 7 minutes of him asking the same question which was "can you give us a time line". If it was me I would have gotten annoyed and done the same thing.

Great news. Very very good to hear. I have to admit, I didn't think we'd ever seen Joel in a Blazers uniform again after that second knee injury. I'm glad to see that he's back and starting to work at full speed. This can only mean good things.

I really wish we could topple the Oregonian. It's the biggest piece of filthy shitty trash on the west coast. It's shameful that it has a deathgrip on the print journalism market in Oregon.

It's 2010, who cares about print journalism. In this day and age, print journalism is nothing but a great way to ruin our forrests. As long as we have the internet we don't need to rely on the Oregonian. This particular news happens to be encouraging, which is probably why Quick/Canzano haven't reported on it. They're probably too busy working on stories which manufacture drama, anything to get their remaining 200 readers to pay attention.

I don't care if an orangutan from the Portland zoo reported it, as long as it's accurate.

Agreed, Blazersedge is awfully good.

What's amazing to me is that after getting some good news like this, some folks use it as an opportunity to bash our players.

Shameful.

e_blazer, haven't you learned by now, some on this board use ANY news to bash the players. Or else coach, management, owner. i still say when the Blazers win the championship, certain people who shall remain nameless will point to the one guy who had a bad game.
