Still averaged 20+ points and 8 assists a game. Not too shabby. Now I'm not knocking Nate mind u. Just saying gp was still good
Good, sure. Fast pace push the ball PG - no.
James Harden is gonna be a very very good player. In fact without a doubt best sixth man in NBA by end of season.
If the roster is not right for it - saying it means nothing. It's like saying that a team built around Andre Miller should be based on outside shooting.
Well, duh. This team needs to run because it does not have a dominant ball-handling half-court player. That was very different in previous years.
He should be starting. He's the second best player on that team. Thabo sucks, but will continue to start (when healthy). Not because he deserves to, but if you start Harden the ball hog Westbrook will freeze him out. Westbrook has a hard enough time accepting the fact that he's Robin to Durant's Batman. No way does he accept being Alfred to Harden's Robin.

I have no proof, but my hunch is that he probably enjoys scoring more than he does passing.
For all the proof you need, go back and look at the 4th quarter play-by-play game logs of several of the playoff games they lost last season. In several games, he completely froze Durant out and tried, and failed, to be "the man".
Playing with two great shooters like Durant and Harden, he should be averaging about 14 APG. Against most teams, Durant simply catches the ball on the perimeter and shots over the defender like he's not even there. That's the easiest assist in the league and even easier than the Stockton to Malone pick and roll. How hard can it be to bring the ball up the court, pass it to Durant and watch him shoot over his opponent? Yet, Westbrook refused to get the ball in the hands of the two-time scoring champion with the game on the line in last season's playoffs. Sooner, or later, that's going to have to change or there will be a mutiny in that locker room.

And they say Ray Allen has a quick release.

Holy shit. Give the guy 30mpg. PLEASE!
I didn't get to see the game, but what has me really excited is that
not only did we be OKC,
not only was it on the road,
but Camby only played 18 and a half minutes.
Our center position is a bit... nonrobust, injury-vulnerable.
IMHO, we have to show more that we can win without Camby playing heavy minutes every game, and tonight we did!

I posted earlier in this thread that he's become Mr. Instant Offense with the turnaround jumpers. I've been impressed to see him coldly sinking his quick release daggers about 3 times per game. Catch and shoot, it's over in one second.
His box score lines, per minute, have been very good. Consistently good effectiveness points per minute.
So MM wasn't right about the team needing to push tempo and actually practice fast breaks and attempt to get easy buckets?
And it's not just a single game it's 4 attacking games and 1 slow, jumper heavy game with a perfect correlation to wins and losses ... and that is the way it is.
This OKC broadcast was OK until they brought in a WWE announcer.
Am I really the only one that hates Crawchuck?
I don't understand that 3 point chuck by Felton. Was that a heat check?
Wallace is abusing Durant on the block!
God, I wish we had Rudy or Dre right now to get LA a lob.
