Not sure how anyone can complain about the coaching or play so far?
57? 2 / 3 * 82 = 54.666....

You have to look at the trendline. Trend says we lose all the remaining games.

I actually enjoyed the last game. The fact that they went to OT and lost by 1 despite a real lousy shooting game is very encouraging.

There were clearly issues, and I suspect that we will see more ZCo at the 5 instead of Nurk in cases like this in the future - but it was still an enjoyable game, even if they lost it.

It was a competitive game for sure.
I just felt the basketball played was really, really bad. Sloppy turnovers, it felt like a foul a minute, horrible defense (which makes the turnovers even more unacceptable). CJ looked like he and I could've switched spots and no one would've noticed in the box score...

It is, however, how math works.

It's now how you project win totals/% over an 82 game season.

Ex: 9-8 after 17 games.

that's 53% or 43 wins.

9/8 = 1.125. However, 43/39 = is not 1.125 it is 1.102

So if the team is 2-1, that's not projected to 57 wins no matter how many times you say it is.

Clearly he was factoring in strength of schedule. All three teams the Blazers have faced so far are predicted by Vegas to have winning records. ;)

Can I get that ridiculous amount of money back I pay in taxes that go to schools? Apparently, it's not really helping out.

Let's see, a tax rate of $0.013/thousand * zip code - nachos at Hooters / traffic = $2.25 we owe you. Here are 7 quarters and a dime, now we are even. Keep the change.

You still owe 40 cents.

Stop! You are turning my forum into a god damn Mathlete meeting!

Do you think it can be done!? I'll be shocked. If we lose to the Magic tonight I would drop my believe percentage. thschock .jpg
