Was anyone able to watch the first Blazers game on CSNNW on Playstation Vue last night? I was only able to see the pre/post game shows.

Last night's game was on KGW, not on CSNNW.

The game wasn't on CSNNW, it was broadcast on a local Portland TV station.

I had to rig up a redneck HDTV antenna using a long coax cable. It only worked if I STABBED MYSELF with the end of the cable. I bled for my Blazers!

I still have a cable box for some reason, and the channel the Blazers play KGW games on down here wasn't coming on on the box, but it was coming on on the antenna, Charter sucks.

unfortunately VUE will not carry the KGW games, I had to go to my local bar to watch - drank and ate too much!

Hey man, welcome to our little forum..... Feels free to check out our rules and regulations thread and holler if you have any questions. Like everybody says on here,"The HCP is here for you!"

Look at the Oct. 25th game, the Blazer schedule says KGW.

But for future reference the title of the game thread will always have who is broadcasting it. @Darkwebs does a great job including that.
I could do better..... he just seems to have hijacked that duty on here, it's bullshit!

So I was considering getting this VUE for my family to watch the games. We have DirecTV and the only thing about it we hate is no Blazers action. Is this something you activate right thru the PlayStation? And is their some sort of DVR on it I heard you guys mention in the summer?

you could get century link prism, it's an option.

To lazy to google

As usual, we have to do all of the work for the HCP.

Playstation Vue can be viewed on PlayStation 3 & 4, and also can be streamed on Chromecast, Roku and Amazon Fire and mobile devices with a mobile plan. There's cloud-based DVR, but some programming is restricted so I'm not sure about CSN. You need to sign up for at least the $45 per month plan to get CSN.

I've heard through the grapevine the DVR abilities are archaic and hard to control and almost not even worth it. I don't know exactly what that means, but it has stalled my ordering of the option until I can get better/precise info. I would assume recording the games is huge for you, since you cant watch them live? I know it is for me.

Man I don't click on links that have to do with Canzano/Quick/Jaynes or Blazersedge! You know this son!

So my son's PS4 is in the basement tv room. Was thinking if I do this, I'll have to bring his playstation upstairs to the family room, but I could just buy a Chromecast or Amazon stick huh?

You've been working for the Blazers how long now? Doesn't sound like your family has much interest in what you do.

It's weird. They will all watch big hoop games when I'm around. But this past 2 seasons, they have really gotten interested, especially the kids. They usually head over to my in laws, but I hate that they have to.

Fuck the Chromecast. Get a Roku. Soooooo much better. I have both btw.

You only have to get the $35/month package to get CSNNW. It works great on my Amazon Fire and because of the $35 package, get the games on TNT as well as a bunch of other channels.

You are correct. I missed the CSN logo on their channel listing for that plan.

When my contract with Comcast is up next spring, I will probably make the switch.

There's some new, improved Rokus coming out next month I think, so wait to get one. The current ones don't have the actual channel guide that the PS4 and Amazon stuff has so the new Rokus might be able to have the guide to make it seem more like a tv service.

Btw, does Sling TV have the Blazer and the History channels? They have the Pac 12 Channel and Vue doesn't, so it would be annoying to have to subscribe to both.
