This is where you post how long you have been a Blazers fan, Favorite Blazer, and Favorite Blazer Moment.
I've been a Blazers fan since 04-05. Growing up I idolized MJ so until he retired I was his guy. Saw his last game in Portland for my 14th birthday and is one of my greatest sports memories. He had 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in that game (had to look up those stats no lies here) and his fadeaway is burned into my brain for all time as the greatest shot ever. I was a big Durant over Oden guy and was devastated when injuries brought down the new blazer dynasty. I'm excited for the current season but still feel like we're a piece or two away from true contention and love to make nonsensical trade proposals. I have posted over at Blazersedge for a long time but since my work blocked them I've been looking around for a good place to talk Blazers and since this is the "official" forum so I figured I'd give it a try. Favorite current Blazer is Lillard, have lots of love for LMA as well though. Favorite Blazer Moment has to be B Roys 4th quarter against the Mavs, one of the greatest performances in sports I have ever seen. Go Blazers!

Nice to have you here ponderguy.

Welcome ponderguy.

Just some advice, if slypokerdog invites you to his house, just remember to put the lotion on your skin

Welcome to the board. Make sure you grab your "Hello Kitty Bag"

How long a blazer fan? 1976 The year I was born -- (third generation oregonian)

Favorite Current Blazer -- That's easy. Lillard.

Favorite All Time Blazer -- Clyde the Glide.

Favorite Moment -- When we clinched the 1990 NBA Western Conference Finals. My first NBA finals experience.

I am a '76er too. In the finals in 77 I apparently injured myself and my parents waited until half time to take me to the hospital.

My favorite current Blazer? Right now it is Batum. I love the way he moves and defends and shoots. Favorite all time? That is tough. Loved Kersey though. Got to meet him once. I felt like a little kid. Favorite moment? I was there when Pippen hit the three against Utah in the playoffs. Loudest I have ever heard the Rose Garden (RIP). But my favorite game was in game 2 when the Blazers beat the Pistons despite Laimbeer's 6 three pointers.

Hey there all, nice board going on here. Just found this board the other day, thought I'd register and say hi.

how long you have been a Blazers fan?
Since the late 80's. I was 10 in 88 when Allen bought the team and that's when my family started watching Blazer games on TV (Back when you had to BUY local games from your cable provider!)

Favorite Blazer?
From times past, I always loved Clyde (made sure to pick #22 every year for intramural ball)
Currently, I like Batum. I wear his Jersey on game day and Love his potential (an aggressive Batum is a hard thing to stop)

Favorite Blazer Moment?
Obviously its got to be the creation of the "Rip City Rhapsody" music video.

Welcome!

Been a Blazers fan: Since the early 1970s. I was a little kid. The Blazers were on TV playing the Knicks, so I am guessing it must have been Walton's rookie year to get on national TV.

Favorite Blazer: So many from which to choose, but probably Larry Steele.

Favorite Blazer moment: The final seconds ticking off at the end of Game 6 of the 1976-77 NBA Finals.

I have been a Blazer fan since 2006 as I first moved to America in 2004 from England. I saw this page on twitter, so I decided to join!

Favorite Blazer: B-Roy

Favorite Blazer Moment- B-Roy's 23 point comeback against the Mavs.

Welcome both of you! It's great to have more Blazer fans!

I have been a Blazers fan since 1976. When I was 12, my family went out to the coast for summer vacation. The weather was horrible so we spent a couple days in Portland. My dad found the Blazers were having a summer scrimmage so we went to watch. We were sitting in the stands and Bill Walton walked up and sat right in front of us. I was in awe! He even signed a sheet of paper for me. Still have it a folder at my parents house.

My current favorite player is Damian Lillard. I watched him play against the Univ. of Montana when he was at Weber State.

My all-time favorite player is Clyde Drexler. Because my wife is a native of Oregon, I was able to attend a couple games.

My favorite moment was when the Blazers won it in '77. It was awesome. I hope to see another championship soon.

Savannah? I live 40min away in SC. That was the best game I ever went to good choice.

Been here since the very beginning -- back in '77 (I was 13....). My family -- and everyone in the neighborhood, turned the TV sound down - and turned the radio on to hear the Shauns call the game :) Good memories....

Favorite Current Blazer: WESLEY "IRONMAN" MATTHEWS!!!! Must admit, RoLO is close -- but NOBODY works harder than Wes!!

Favorite Past Blazer: Clyde the Glyde, Terry Porter, Buck Williams

Favorite Blazer Moment: Well..... there are some pretty sweet memories over by span in RipCity -- but currently?? I'll say Monday night's win here at home (I was there) - and seeing our guys work HARD under the bucket for like -- 6 different possessions -- trying to put a shot in, while the crowd chanted "We are... RipCity" "We are... RipCity". They showed true guts under there, and did give up on the ball until one went down for 2. I also love the pic at the end of last nights game -- the TEAM, together in front of the scoring section. It speaks volumes!

Stick around IRONMAN!! Things are just about to get interesting in RipCity!! Help us out, be a part of it :) This city LOVES you!!

new to the boards so thought I'd share too.

fan since 98 when I was 12.

Favorite Current Blazer: Lillard. Fell in love with him in the predraft process.

Favorite Past Blazer: Damon Stoudamire, Sheed and Sabonis but mainly Stoudamire. MIGHTY MOUSE

Favorite Blazer Moment: Believe it or not, the battle with the Lakers in the playoffs. Portland was the only team that really made it tough for them, especially Sabonis vs Shaq. Lillards buzzer beater vs Houston is obviously #1.

Hi guys, glad to join you all. I used to post on the Blazers' old forum and have really missed some of the posters and conversations we had. I've been trying to catch Sarah and Orlando as often as possible, but silly things like a work schedule keep getting in my way. Looking forward to more conversations with some of the most game-savvy fans in basketball!

Keith

Been a fan since moving to Portland in early 90's. Current favorite player is Wes, but LaMarcus and Rolo would be close behind him. All time favorite and favorite moment are pretty hard to specify... Dame's ".9 vHOU" is still pretty fresh to me, but there have been so many great moments.

Hey 24Seven! I haven't seen you around in the Sarah and Orlando chats in ages! How's it going?

Love your big muscles

Hi everyone! Just found this forum yesterday and signed up. It's the only Blazer forum I've been able to find, so I'm glad I found it.

I've been a fan since 2006, and I'll be a fan for life, through good times and bad. Also a devout 49er fan, but that's for another thread.

I didn't follow basketball before then. It just wasn't interesting to me. But then I heard that the Blazers were rebuilding, and there was this guy named Brandon Roy coming into the organization, so I gave it a shot and watched a few games. I'm glad I did! Been a fan ever since.

I've been on tons of forums over the years, and still have a couple that I frequent (GlockTalk.com and 49ers.com). I'm glad I can add this to my forum roster too.

As for current favorite Blazer....hmmm. I love all of them, but I think Damien is my favorite player right now. This kid is such a beast, and so underrated.

Go Blazers!

Dude! Yep, like the gun. I've been a member since August of 2004. Just passed my 4,700 post count there. I own a 22 myself, carry it daily. They are great guns, aren't they?

Check it out when you get a chance. I have the same forum name there: Jade Falcon. It's the largest firearms forum on the net.
