My goodness. Hats off to Neil Olshey. What an amazing job he has done this summer. Remarkable.

Mo Williams and Earl Watson, his Jazz backup last season, complemented each other's talents. See the per-36 section. Williams shot a lot more shots per minute, and better percentages. But Watson was better per minute in all other stats. Watson is 3 1/2 years older, 10 pounds heavier, and the better defender. Stotts will put in Watson when he needs defense.

I follow #RipCity on twitter and Mo Williams has been getting tweets welcoming him to PDX all day and those are just the ones I see with #RipCity in them not including the ones without and there have been dozens and dozens of them. This guy has got to be feeling the PDX love already. Its nice to see.

Wow. From string, saw dust, and duct tape one year into a pretty impressive bench unit the next. Olshey is the freaking MacGuyver of NBA talent.

Leonard 5.5 ppg
Robinson 4.8 ppg
Claver 3.8 ppg
Barton 4.0 ppg
Freeland 2.6 ppg
Watson 2.0 ppg
McCollum ? 9 ppg
Crabbe ? 2 ppg


Total 55.8 ppg

But not realistic to look at way

Last year 18.5 ppg
 
What's the NBA record for the most 3 pointers made by a team in one season. With, Nic, Wes, Damian, Wright, Williams, McCollumn, and Crabbe, that's one whale of a lot of 3 pt chucking potential. And that's not even counting Meyers Leonard. ;)

Starters averaged 81.9, team averaged 97.5. Roughly 15.

This year's bench?

Mo averaged 13 in 30 minutes.

TRob 4.5 points.

The rookies (CJ), ZERO.

Am I missing anyone?

Lopez is a starter, so I didn't count him.

Last year Mo had a PER of 14.5. It will feel so good to have an average nba player coming off the bench.
