LA is a much better defender. Love gets to the FT line more even though he takes less body on his plays its quiet annoying but thats what you get when your labeled a suprestar.

Numbers says they're very similar. This isn't the same Love on defense as last year.

Love's calls have nothing to do with "superstar" calls. He has the ability, like Charles Barkley used to, of getting his man in the air with the pump fake and he gets fouled a ton late in games when he's going for the loose ball.

He gets loose ball fouls like no one else. It takes just a little body and they call a loose ball foul on the other guy, they don't even treat Howard like they do love in that respect that puts him at the line a lot.
As for D just watch the two. Love is a bad help defender and just tries to prevent his guy from going into the paint adn then goes for the O rebound thats all he can do. LA is very active defensively and has to switch a lot and guard a mismatch he can also block shots which love really can't and his length aggravates opp a lot.
