Blazers @ T-Wolves 3/7/12 - Game Thread!

Portland is 13th in 3pt attempts/game this year.

They were 13th last year, too.

They were 19th in 2009-10.

They were 13th in 2008-09.

You don't know what you're talking about, at least after looking at the stats. Nate is middle of the pack in terms of 3-pointers.

Guess which coach depends on the three, at least according to the stats?

Riddle me this stat-master: where do they rank in 3-pt effectiveness? I'll bet it is lower than 13th!

What does that have to do with your claim that Nate is dependent on the 3 point shot?

:dunno: Fine, I give up. 3-23 is an acceptable performance. Nate is a genius.

The Blazers are 16th in 3pt% and 13th in 3pt attempts/game.

They had a bad shooting night. Not sure why that's the coach's fault, but I suppose he played a part in it. Maybe he jinxed the players, or yelled at them while they were shooting?

16th? I'm amazed. I would have bet you a beer it was in the 20-25 range.

As for why the coach is responsible - he calls/diagrams the plays.

It's "you knows", but I'm happy that you can count to 22! :)

Its spelled twenty-two, just thought I'd help you with that. Its not actually a "you know" either, its more like a "ya know".

Hey, I'm just glad you posted the "you know" count from LMA.

Seems important as a Blazer fan to focus on those things.

I blame this loss on HCP for making a jinxy game thread.

Too bad Aldridge was in foul trouble both of the times Kevin Love had good games

Coincidence? I'm not so sure.....

Just give Kevin credit.

He's tough to guard -- he can hit the three and drive. He also mixes it up by being a threat on the block.

LMA lately is easy to figure out -- he calls for the ball 12ft away from the hoop and it's one of two things: fade away or an up-and-under.

Love ownes LaMarcus. This isn't too hard to see. Love does this to every PF in the League.

Don't buy it, sorry.

There are a few people that feel like these two games have proven something, but they really haven't. It's why I've been laughing reading those people make those posts. Good stuff.

All I saw is Love take advantage of Aldridge being in foul trouble. Two times Love has had good games Aldridge hasn't been on the floor.

Interesting to say the least.

He's a good player

I just think it's interesting how Love's pts in this game correlates to Aldridge's floor time

And it does matter who guards him. He was much better in this game against Przybilla/Camby/Wallace than he was against Aldridge.

Love was 7-8 when Aldridge was off the floor

2-9 when Aldridge was on the floor

So much for Love owning Aldridge.

Crunch butthumped Blaze, lit up a cigarette, and wiped himself with a Blazer towel.

Why didn't Love get Td up?

For the same reason he gets to the free throw line everytime someone touches him (my favorite was when he brought the ball up into LMA's chest); he is the Great White Hope.

Just pulling up to the hotel here in Boston..... 3AM...... Extra quiet flight.

Did you ask him about pending "big news" that he hinted earlier today?
