Some insight on the radio in Houston sports show saying Chandler Parsons is a douchebag just FYI
 
Yes I agree about the injury issues. But if you can get him on a good deal then why not take a chance? Parsons and Howard would be a good off-season to me. Both will have a lot of interest from around the league, if we are the landing spot for both of them then it will show that tides have turned in our favor.

Why do people say negative stereotypical racist things about white NBA players in general? Saying the white guys are good looking is a backhanded way of saying they aren't good, because they are white and good looking.

Yeah no doubt he kind of screwed Houston over when he left for Dallas. Although I can't blame him for wanting out of that mess.

I don't see how we can get both. Didn't Howard eliminate us? Parson will have options, assuming his knees are fine. I think he will get around 20.

Is it? I don't usually get that impression except when it comes to Meyers, but he isn't good so that makes sense.

I recall seeing a quote by Howard the other day along the lines of how he hasn't ruled anyone out and is still considering all his options. Want's to approach free agency with an open mind.
 
Dudes. If we renounce Meyers and Hark, we could open up about 40 mil of space. Then still go over the cap match nay offer AC gets. That leaves enough room for Parsons AND Whiteside as long as Parsons takes about 2-3 mil less than max.

So does anyone know who we are meeting with first? Lillards presence suggests parsons will be tomorrow because of his camp obligation but who knows, maybe he flies down to LA tonight it's not that far.

They can meet with Parsons at 9:01 pm in LA. That gives Dame plenty of time to fly back.

Dame + Neil + PA + Terry to LA to meet with Chandy tonight. Dame gets back tmrw
CJ (seen recently in Virginia at Ed's camp) + Neil + PA + Terry to meet with Hassan in NYC after a redeye.

Just speculation. Man this is fun :)

That would make the most sense. Unless Dame goes with them and flies back tomorrow for the end of his camp.
 
woj seems to think Whiteside will be deciding quickly tonight....between Miami and Dallas. Hopefully we still get the meeting. Long flight not to get to see him unless it was already canceled.

Just gotta be weary that we don't have a Tyson Chandler to PHX situation. But man, this would be the best FA ever in POR history if Neil pulls it off

Parsons is a peasant, we don't need him.
