Like Cole Aldridge. So many fans now want him after we played the Clips. No one to my knowledge wanted him before.

Yep. He killed us for a couple games, and suddenly I wanted him on my team.

Not the depth but certainly a stronger starting 5 and with that group, I think you would be able to add some solid pieces inexpensively.

Steve Blake will probably want to come back for the minimum if we pull off what we want to do.

I went to the Clipper Miami Game on January 11th. Jordan was sick and did not play and Cole played 24 minutes.
7-14 from the field and 7 rebounds in the win. (3 assists and 2 turn overs, no block shots, 1 foul)

Whiteside played 26 minutes and was 3-5 11 points, 3 blocks, 5 turnovers, 1 assist, 4 fouls,

Obviously Whiteside was better at blocking shots, but Cole showed more hustle and was more physical that night.....and much better offensively. His D on Bosh was excellent as well (3-11)

just one game, but it certainly got my attention.

He seems like he might be a nice bargain bin signing. Teams seem to be overlooking him.

Aldrich is a great in-field double, but right now all the GMs are playing Babe Ruth and calling their Home Run shots.

You'd think giving the guy a max and having Dame fly down just for the meeting would make a difference
 
i have to admit i am very wired atm waiting for some news but there is a part of me that's like no news is good news and another side of me is like -- no news means he told the blazers he is going with Memphis . I still feel we will know something by noon but i guess we all are gonna have to be patient even if that's hard to do.
 
The fact that the meeting has lasted this long means it wasn't just a courtesy.
 
i missed all this discussion, but nobody is wary of him having microfracture last year, and then getting some meniscus removed a few months ago? dude could come back like brandon roy.

I know a Mavs guy. Parsons and Conley legit like each other and have discussed playing together. Parsons may well choose us, but his interest in Memphis is legit, or at least playing with Conley

How do we know it's still going on? I doubt there's people scoping this meeting like they are KD's meetings in the Hamptons.
