Fake Woj. Come on, manAdrian Wojnarowski @WojVerticilNBA
Chandler Parsons is reportedly leaning towards accepting the #Blazers max contract offer. Told Damian Lilliard was the deciding factor.

my bad -- following the tweets via basketball insiders and not paying attention
The only good way to see Woj is to follow him on real twitter.
He must be taking a power nap.Woj, no new tweets for an hour, the calm before the storm![]()
@santeesioux bigalow, male gigolo?Don't worry guys, I'm going to be away from a computer/phone screen for a while in 40 minutes, it will totally happen then.
So assuming that we met with him at 9:01, our meeting last just under 2.5 hours.
If Parsons' meeting with Memphis started at 8:30, that means it is still going at not quite 2.5 hours.
i missed all this discussion, but nobody is wary of him having microfracture last year, and then getting some meniscus removed a few months ago? dude could come back like brandon roy.
You have a weird definition of "major knee surgery".
He's a couple facts for you:
In spite of two, so called "major knee surgeries", Parsons has never missed more than 21 games in a season.
His most recent surgery was on March 25 and he's already been cleared to resume all basketball activities:
"Sources say multiple renowned orthopedic specialists have given Parsons clearance to resume full basketball activities and expressed optimism that his knee would not prevent him from having a long, productive NBA career."
You don't come back and get cleared for full basketball activities a couple months after "major knee surgery".
This isn't an Oden situation, or a Roy situation. Parson's hasn't had the kind of injuries that have caused him to miss multiple seasons, or even more than 1/4 of a season.
And you thought the Blazers should go after Festus Ezeli, a guy who has missed 154 of 246 regular season games over the last three seasons. If you're going to be Debbie Downer, can you at least be consistent?
