Covington is a role player on paper, but this move could be a game changer. We saw how much of an impact Ariza made, well we just got a souped up version of that.

We probably could have had Covington at many points for 2 firsts. Wonder what sprung the decision to do it now?

Either way, ballsy gamble finally by Olshey. It's a lot, but they should be able to recoup at least one first for Covington if things go south. Thinking about this a bit more, something like this needed to be done.

I see Roco as a swing 4, with Hood at 3. Zach off the bench. Whoever it is that starts, Covington gives us that flexibility we have been desperately lacking.

One underrated aspect: Ariza was actually quite good in the time he was here, but at 35, he may not be as good as he was last year.
