Vit = Kyle Korver
Its crazy how many players used to be shooters and basically nothing else - now guys that can even playmake a little while shooting lights out are paid the vet minimum.Vit = Kyle Korver
I wonder if there's some secondary playmaker potential here? His AST% is 8.7% this year but it was 16% as recently as last year.
Shouldn't.Anyone who shoots like that will draw attention. Then all he has to do is pass to the open guy in the corner. Shouldn't incur many turnovers doing that.
That's the thing. Players aren't just plug and play. Sometimes they get beside the right player or players...and they blossom.I wonder if there's some secondary playmaker potential here? His AST% is 8.7% this year but it was 16% as recently as last year.
Vit = Peja Stoyakovic!Vit = Kyle Korver
Peja got big at just the right time. The confluence of his ascension and technology at the time gave us, "My Peja is blowin up!"Vit = Peja Stoyakovic!
Did somebody on here say he was injured?Gonna be on a plane so not going to be able to witness the debut of the vitamix blender.
I read he's going to play tomorrowDid somebody on here say he was injured?
It’s definitely a good thing too; rotations used to be 8 guys but the game is so much more competitive now. It’s gorgeous to watch but it’s like F1 now, it’s tuned so finely one wrong move results in six weeks of physical therapy. Luckily you have two-way scrubs nearly as good as Wesley Matthews was in 2009.Its crazy how many players used to be shooters and basically nothing else - now guys that can even playmake a little while shooting lights out are paid the vet minimum.
I think the league is just way deeper than its ever been. There's players in the 12th spot that can legit contribute. I remember years of the Blazers having total scrubs even as 6th/7th men. That first Neil Olshey team (Dame rookie year) had a surprisingly good starting 5 but thats teams bench in todays NBA would be by far the worst in the league.
he was listed as injured (ankle) at the Atlanta BBREF page but that may have been a smokescreen for an impending tradeDid somebody on here say he was injured?
Unfortunately, thanks to the wonders of the us aero industry, flight delayed, so will be able to watch some of the blenders debut on crappy airport wifi. Whoop whoopGonna be on a plane so not going to be able to witness the debut of the vitamix blender.
I dunno, I thought he competed well on D out there. Had a couple of nice passes as well.Guess we saw the problem with players like Vit last night - if they are missing shots their poor D really hurts the team.
Saw it plenty with Dame/CJ/Melo/Ant/etc players.
Still like the trade but it kind of takes away from the Blazers identity. Wonder if improving the offense just equally or more hurts are team and has no impact on winning.

The one good thing is Vit is a backup and we can totally reduce his minutes/role for games that seems like a better strategy. Never could do that with Dame/CJ - or after CJ was traded we couldn't do that with Ant.
I'd have loved if CJ or Ant were a 6th man as Blazers and filled more of a Manu role.
He only did that so you’ll LIKE his horrible basketball takes. So sad……With a tremendous thanks to @BoBoBREWSKI, I was at the game last night. There was definitely some "I don't know what the hell I am doing" from Krejci, but I really appreciated his activity, particularly on the offensive end. We are such a stagnant offensive team that his movement and quick passing (even in moments where he should have just pulled the trigger) was very much welcomed.
At this juncture, I am more concerned about the process than the outcome (made shots). I hope he can keep up that activity as he gets more comfortable.

If he becomes just an average defender with his shooting he'll be an MLE level player at least. Two more years at the vet minimum will be a steal.He has 2 steals in 13 mins. I thought he played decent D without even having a practice in. I like his size and he actually covers more ground than expected. He is agile and have good foot speed. I think he will only improve as he get more time to practice with the rest of the team and understanding the defensive scheme and his role.
Yes it is true….. @THE HCP made the big screen last night. Some sort of male modeling competition I think.Ha! Speaking of sad... my six-year-old son looked up to the big screen about 30 minutes before gametime and tried to grabbed my attention. He pointed and said, "that guy is kinda a funny dancer!"
I legit cackled. Let's just say that it wasn't Ice Cube up on the big screen.![]()

Well, yeah, they usually show the judges. But if you’re not sure what it was, tells me you were paying more attention to the dudes than your responsibilities, FAMS!Yes it is true….. @THE HCP made the big screen last night. Some sort of male modeling competition I think.View attachment 80852
