can't celebrate...watch Blake get a cheap j here or something...;)

LOL at Griffin going for the rebound on Foye's last shot.

This was a great game to make the push for LMA on the All-Star team.

well done, LMA. Streak is still alive!

Love that Lob to LMA to end our last "real" possesion.

We went on a run to end all 4 quarters. Awesome!

LMA: "I don't think I'm gonna get in this year."

Nice. Aldridge said we have to win 10 in a row for him to make the AS team. Go do it!!

Aldridge thoroughly outplayed both Love and Griffin in the same week. I'm baffled.

There isn't a reason we couldn't have gone to LMA about 10 more times in the second half. By 2 minutes into the 3rd it was painfully obvious that a) Griffin couldn't handle LMA one-on-one, and b) LMA could both pass out of and power through doubleteams. Oh well. Maybe some day. :)

Blake Griffin is a glorified garbage man. Perhaps the best garbage man I've seen in years, but he has a very limited game. Kevin Love has more overall offense skills, and both are just miserable on defense. If Griffin loses some of that athleticism, his game will suffer greatly if he doesn't learn how to shoot from the outside.

Griffin was basically holding LMA on the low block, making an entry pass almost impossible. The one time LMA got the ball on the block late, he had to pop Blanky in the mouth with an elbow for some separation.

4 straight wins! Holla!

+1, + more than that. THOROUGHLY outplayed both, IMO. Grffin absolutely could not cover Aldridge(neither could Ike lol), but Aldridge looked good on him.

Despite his 18 rebounds, Griffin still finished well behind Aldridge (and Matthews) in ESPN's "player rating" tonight. His 5 turnovers might have had something to do with that.

Love Barkley saying that Love and Griffin not making the All-Star game would be a "travesty".

Birds of a feather that don't play defense flock together...

Barkley had his mind made up last month. He's not gonna change it now, especially for a Blazer.

Even if the stats don't completely indicate it, Aldridge was significantly better than Griffin tonight.

Let's not get too carried away. Rudy is shooting even worse this season than he did last. A game or two doesn't erase that.

Like the rest of the bench (And even some of the starters), he's hot or cold. We got hot Rudy tonight.

it's good to have "good" Rudy instead of "wet-the-bed" Rudy on national TV.

For stretches tonight, Griffin was looking like a rookie. More importantly, LMA was playing like a cagey vet!

Rudy is now trending.

4 games out of 3rd place in the West. :)

His awful shooting also probably had quite a lot to do with that. 6-17 for an "inside" player? Yeesh.

Using some points+rebounds+assists metric would be wildly simplistic in assessing how the two players did. At the very least, shooting percentage and turnovers should be considered.

Griffin's a hell of a player, though. Not a go-to type of offensive player yet. He's more like a young Shawn Kemp. Elite rebounder and finisher, not a very good player at getting his own shot.
