I'll stir the pot a bit. Batum has looked great. Greg still has a way to go. He got outplayed by Fesenko (or whatever his name is) from Utah. But how much is due to the inability of the point guards to get him the ball?

Kind of fun playing this game during exhibition season. It's like favourability ratings. Batum was tumbling until his good games this past week. Now he's rising while Bayless is falling.

I propose adding one to each of the bottom four players to give them a little boost and to correct for past arithmetical incompetence (oops!). I suspect the Obama supporters in the room won't have a problem with this redistribution. If someone strongly disagrees with this proposal, just carry on as if my post was not here... my feelings won't be hurt. The changes are reflected in my list.

Tip: If the points don't sum to 180 when you're finished, you've added or subtracted 1 incorrectly :tsktsk:

So far (other than Ed :lol:) we've managed the math well. Because I like small government, I say if it aint broke, don't fix it.

Huh? At the beginning, there were 18 players with 10 points each. If every transaction involves simultaneously adding and subtracting 1, at the end of every transaction the total should remain 180, as it was in the beginning. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, because the fact that the total is now 176 (prior to my post) necessarily indicates that it is, in fact, "broke."

I was going off alex42083's post and I added 1 to the bottom four (as you suggested), then removed one from Bayless and added it to Joel thus making Batum +1, Joel +2, Martell + 1 and Bayless +0 making the total 180 as you requested. :crazy:

Lol, so what you did was follow my suggestion but ignore my action of taking one from Joel and adding it to Bayless. Seems fair enough, lol. I'm just happy it adds correctly now.
 
Oops, I didn't notice you were making modifications at the same time, just proposing to add one to each and they didn't seem to add up to alex' numbers and so, I used your suggestion but then made the modification. :dunno:
