Re-listening to the play by play... I love the Vonleh-Davis front court. They're vacuum cleaners on the offensive boards.
Even better is watching it again (which I just did

); a thing of beauty seeing those 2 grab/dominate everything!

I really like having Vonleh & Davis out there together (Vonleh & Davis got most of theirs on O from sweet put-backs!

), they play very well together; eventually when Vonleh's offense starts solidifying (~1-2years away)... I'm wanting these 2 as our starters. Was this preseason? Yes, however, the way Vonleh & Davis played CAN translate to the reg. season, this IS 1 of the few things that we CAN get excited about/read into (i.e. ALSO our rebounding will be insane! Let's not forget that Alexander will be back soon!)

Our starting bigs (for now...), we've got the "Ivory Towers" & then we follow up w/... THE Ebony Enforcers (playing off the Stevie Wonder thang

)! Really liked how Harkless looked out there & Mason did some good things too; w/ Mason, I DEFINITELY see him putting it on the floor more w/ us vs. when he was w/ the Nets.
We couldn't have asked for a better preseason/teaching tool IMO (the win is nice but wasn't the most important takeaways here ooooofff course

); this game was an excellent example of needing to b mentally strong/prepared (against a seasoned team of regulars, I don't think we would've won but even IF that were the case & we lost, I think we would've brought the same fight & we STILL would've grown/learned invaluable lessons!). Our guys knew it'd b mostly scrubs they'd b facing, @ 1st our guys didn't handle that well BUT in the 4th/OT, they came together/locked in & got 'er done!
